THE State Government of Queensland now wants people to register their pocket knives.
They are also using drones to spy on fishermen and farmland.
This same political elite - the ruling Labor Party, the so-called opposition Liberal-National Party and the Courier Mail daily newspaper - deny there's any threat of a totalitarian new world order.
In his famous book 1984, George Orwell exposed the game of self-delusion by a totalitarian political elite that promoted slogans like “Ignorance is Strength” and “War is Peace”.

Queensland LNP candidate Mick Pattel, the organiser of last year's Convoy of No Confidence rally in Canberra, is quickly learning this game.

Patel wrote on the internet site Just Grounds that after some doubts, he now believed in a conspiracy to install world government was indeed happening through global action on climate change.

That was too much for journalist Patrick Lion of the Courier Mail and Labor Party figures who believe Mick Pattel is a heretic who should be forced to recant such a belief or face political death.

Then Mick Pattel, in a cowardly backdown to enforced political correctness for his own party, recanted his words and removed his internet comments.

If Patrick Lion, the intrepid journalistic investigator, and his political cohorts simply googled “new world order” they would have found at least 30 published references to people like Gordon Brown (ex British Labour Party PM) advocating and announcing a new world order.

A “new world order” has also been advocated by Tony Blair, George Bush Senior, US Senator Gary Hart, Mikhail Gorbachev and Nicolas Sarkozy among others.

And far from a conspiracy theory, the so-called new world order or “global governance” is actually being implemented via the G8, G11 and G20 forums; and yes, through the global carbon conferences as exposed by Lord Monckton; through the Agenda 21 program where people are being concentrated in “human habitat zones” and through the regional “free trade” agreements where multinational giants totally dominate the economic agenda.

AFL now run by politically correct, corporate sissy socialists

IT would be unfair to call the Gold Coast Suns player who reported Western Bulldogs player Justin Sherman for making a "racist comment" a sissy. He was probably just following 'official policy' about what to do when someone makes a racist snipe in the heat of the game.

The 19-year-old Gold Coast Suns rookie suspected of making the complaint against Sherman probably wouldn't understand the political, philosophical or ethical matters behind this issue, but the AFL corporate chiefs who shamed Justin Sherman into a communist-style public confession of his "crime" have got no excuse for being gutless, cowardly sissies and turning the game into an exercise in socialist political correctness.

First of all the AFL makes a big show of the silly female Muslim AFL playing gear. Do they seriously expect AFL-playing girls to go running around in those head dresses? The girls wearing those garments will be at a distinct disadvantage to the non-Muslim players. What happens when one of them gets torn off in a tussle? Will the offending player also be subject to a racial vilification charge? Perhaps the AFL corporate crowd will fix the problem by making them compulsory for all females in the name of "equal opportunity" and "diversity"? Sounds like the AFL's new style.

But underlying the public shaming of Sherman and the parade of female Muslim AFL gear is an old political and social engineering agenda. Forcing someone to publicly confess to 'racial vilification' and attend an 'education course' is straight out of the communist text books i.e. public humiliation(i) for thought crimes and re-education camps. The EU is notorious for this Marxist-style "law" and apparently, we must fall into line like good little globalists.

But the prosecution of these so-called 'racial vilification' crimes on the sports field are also double standards and hypocrisy. It seems you can call another player any name you want or spit any insult in his face, but don't mention skin colour. Oh no, that's the cardinal sin, apparently. No doubt references to "sexual orientation" would be similarly treated.

The AFL corporate chiefs are turning the players into sissies. Any player offended by a comment about skin colour should shirtfront the other player and show some guts. But Bulldogs CEO Simon Garlick sums up the incident with the following cowardly, grovelling, astounding example of political correctness: “The Western Bulldogs not only embrace and celebrate diversity we are proud and active champions for tolerance and social inclusion in our community.” What a load of bollocks!

Similar cowardly drivel was expressed by AFL football operations manager Adrian Anderson, quoted by the Courier Mail: “It does beggar belief that a player in this day and age could racially vilify an opponent and I hope to never see it again,” he said.“I'm confident our players, and they get educated on this every year, our players understand there is no place for this in our game and this is a complete aberration.” But of course commissar!
Who says the Western Bulldogs are "active champions" for "tolerance and social inclusion".

Well, Mr Garlick, if that's that case, how about your Bulldog boys join in the next Sydney Mardis Gras? Perhaps the Bulldogs could have a special "Hug a Gay Day"? What better way to "embrace and celebrate diversity"? Perhaps the Swans should change their colours to pink in support of Sydney's "diverse" gay community? But seriously Mr Garlick, are the Bulldogs football players or are they social activists? Wake up AFL corporate bosses! You seem to have been under the spell of the Victorian Labor Party for too long. Or have you been spending too much time with the Australian Institute of Company Directors - those other corporate champions of the socialist agenda?

Open Letter to Queensland MPs & Treasury on debt bondage

The Premier, The Treasurer,

Under Treasurer and Under Secretary Gerard Bradley.

Dear Premier, Treasurer, MPs and Mr Bradley:

As explained by my friend Len Clampett in the attached letter to Treasurer Andrew Fraser, State Governments that take on ever-increasing, exponential private debt are not fulfilling their Constitutional duty of care and neither are they promoting the “peace, welfare and good government of the State”.

Tell me Liberal-National Party MPs, will you be proud to be presiding over police state-enforced austerity as demanded by the IMF and the like? Already people commonly refer to police as “revenue raisers”. Do our police need to wear that? But please tell me how it is lawful for police to randomly stop people without reasonable cause or suspicion and extract revenue for mostly minor infringements? Even worse, state and council environmental officers everywhere are unlawfully demanding oppressive fees and charges and imposing unconstitutional restrictions on trade and lawful use of private property – this is nothing but corporate state fascism.

Len says in the attached: “The Queensland State Constitution, and even the fraudulent Queensland Constitution of 2001 … clearly lays down that the Parliament is charged with the Duty-of-Care of all Queenslanders and those who reside here, even temporarily, in that the Assembly has the POWER to make laws for the peace, WELFARE and good government of the State. I suppose it does need to be explained to you that when a Cabinet sits in secret and plots ways to defraud The People it is a true conspiracy and not just a theory. It should not be necessary to explain to you that it is not in the best interests of the WELFARE of The People to knowingly, willingly and forcefully keep them in ever increasing exponential debt.”

I would remind you MPs that Acts of Parliament that force people into debt bondage and slavery are unlawful under 270.1 Commonwealth Criminal Code Act, where the term ‘slavery’ is defined as “the condition of a person over whom any or all of the powers attaching to the right of ownership are exercised, including where such a condition results from a debt or contract made by the person”.

Don’t think MPs that we are somehow immune from economic crisis. The financial powers that be, ie the international banking fraternity and their global business associates (who meet annually as the Bilderberg Group), are ruthlessly committed to the overthrow of sovereign nation states and states within states such as Queensland. It’s called “globalisation”, which is nothing more than a global power grab by an economic elite.

The private international banking cartel (gang would be more appropriate) as represented by the IMF believe only they have the privilege of creating debt ie money, finance, lines of credit. However, the highest law of Australia, the Commonwealth Constitution Section 51 (xiii) makes it very clear that our Commonwealth and States have distinct banking powers ie powers for the state to act as a bank.

Please tell me any of you, including Treasury officers, why are these powers not exercised? There has been no referendum to remove or alter Section 51 (xiii) in regard to banking. Here is an extract of the relevant sections of the Commonwealth Constitution:

51 Legislative powers of the Parliament [see Notes 10 and 11]

The Parliament shall, subject to this Constitution, have power to make laws for the peace, order, and good government of the Commonwealth with respect to:

(xiii) banking, other than State banking; also State banking extending beyond the limits of the State concerned, the incorporation of banks, and the issue of paper money.

The LNP believe Campbell Newman will lead them to an Obama-style “glorious sweep to power” but mark my words, what will change? I would suggest little or nothing except the LNP will exercise more militant “fiscal conservatism” as demanded by the international banksters who will in turn take control of any remaining state assets and then demand yet more revenue via tollways and other user-pays infrastructure. Infrastructure Australia, of which Campbell Newman is a member, already has it mapped out.

Please tell me Jann Stuckey, John Paul Langbroek, Ray Stevens, Ros Bates, Alex Douglas where I’m wrong in making such a prediction. Len Clampett is stating the painful truth that you don’t have any answers in your policy. Debt will get worse and taxes and regulations will remain just as burdensome, if not more so, than under Anna Bligh, unless you are prepared to stand up and do what is lawful and right for the people of Queensland and the Commonwealth.

Half-baked theology and Zionism drives Christian prophecy industry

THE New Testament verses above are part of a famous discourse by Jesus, foretelling the "end of the age" and the overthrow and destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in AD70. History, written primarily by Josephus, records that the massive stones of the temple were indeed thrown and down moved out of their place as the Romans desperately dug for the temple gold that had melted down between the stones as the temple timbers and fittings burned fiercely. The Jerusalem temple, the symbol of ancient Israel and the Old Covenant, was demolished within the lifespan of those around Jesus at the time of his prophecy. The prophecy had been literally fulfilled 40 years after Jesus spoke it.
Fast forward to the late 1700s and 1800s and a new doctrine had a different view. It came to be known as dispensationalism and speculated that the "real fulfilment" of Jesus' prophecy was yet to take place. Theologians, mystics and sects such as the Plymouth Brethren began to bring a new twist on the verses of Matthew 24 and other prophecies. John Nelson Darby, Cyrus Scofield and others who advanced this belief, said God had a special, separate, unfulfilled purpose for "the Jews". This flew in the face of St Paul's New Testament teaching that Christ had united Jew and Gentile spiritually. St Paul, the converted Pharisee, taught that the biblical Hebrews, the Judeans (translated "Jews" in modern English) and the other 11 tribes who looked forward to the fulfilment of their religion in the prophesied Messiah, could now share their revealed Messiah Jesus with the Gentiles (non-Hebrews). St Paul was called the Apostle to the Gentiles and his mission, as shown in his letters to the Romans and the Greeks at Ephesus, Corinth and Thessalonica, was to reveal the good news, the gospel, to these Gentile nations.
But towards the end of the 19th Century, the system of theology called dispensationalism put a strange twist on all of this. It taught, for instance, that "this generation" of Matthew 24:34, was not the people who Jesus was actually talking to, but a future "regathered, remnant Israel" who would fulfil prophesies of the Old Testament some 2000 years or so from their actual, biblical fulfilment in Jesus Christ. St Paul himself wrote that all the promises of God i.e. the promises of the Old Testament, are "yes and amen" in Jesus Christ.
However, nearly 40 years after Cyrus I. Scofield published his first dispensationalist Scofield Reference Bible in 1909 and 1878 years after the destruction of Jerusalem temple, modern Israel was formed in 1948. This event was (and still is) taken by the growing numbers of dispensationalists in the fundamentalist churches and sects such as the Jehovah's Witnesses, as God's work, a literal fulfilment of Old Testament prophecy.
But did the God of the Old and New testaments predetermine that Palestinians and Jews should engage in decades of almost ceaseless bloodletting and violence over the land taken by the new settlers from Russia and Eastern Europe under the Palestinian Mandate of the United Nations? Many of these new "Jewish" settlers were fair-skinned, non-Semitic Russian and Eastern Europeans, who claimed their Judaic religion entitled them to occupy the "Holy Land" - despite the fact that the Palestinians (and Jews) already lawfully occupied the region and had lived together in relative harmony in the region until 1948 under Turkish and then British rule.

Zionist takes Scofield under his wing
This idea of "Bible prophecy yet to be fulfilled" was gaining momentum in the late 1800s and early 1900s as the Jewish Zionist movement, led by Theodore Herzl and backed by the powerful Rothschild banking family and others, began to agitate for a "Jewish Homeland". The fact that this campaign coincided with the rise of dispensationalist theology may not actually be coincidental. At least one very significant connection

between the Jewish Zionists and the Christian dispensationalists was that of Cyrus Scofield and Samuel Untermeyer, the wealthy Jewish New York City Attorney and political wheeler-dealer.
Scofield was an American lawyer who became Kansas Attorney in curious circumstances. He apparently converted to Christianity after abandoning his family and being convicted of fraud that landed him in jail. According to some researchers including his foremost critic Joseph Canfield, Scofield never studied law but was admitted to the bar by a secretive group of financiers from Boston known as "the Boston Six". He became a leading advocate for dispensationalism in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
After his release from jail and conversion Scofield ran a small church in Texas and was later given leave to go overseas and pursue his studies of earlier dispensationalist work. In New York he somehow connected with Untermeyer, perhaps through his law connections. Apart from becoming New York City Attorney, Untermeyer also became president of the World Jewish Economic Federation. He and Scofield attended The Lotos Club, the "place to be" for well-connected journalists, writers, artists and anyone who was anybody. It is curious that a nationally prominent Jewish lawyer, or even the club he attended, would open its doors to a convicted and shamed fraudster turned pastor of a fundamentalist church.
Although unstated in Scofield's biographies, it is suspected that this connection opened the door to Scofield's stunning success in getting his "marginal notes" (i.e. dispensationalistScofield Reference Bible. Scofield's study notes in the margins of the King James Bible became standard text for many evangelical seminaries across the United States of America and remain so to this day.
The rise of dispensationalism continued through the 1960s, fueled by the Six-Day War of 1967 between Egypt, Syria and Israel, and the best-seller book The Late Great Planet Earth by dispensationalist Hal Lindsey. Lindsey and others like him confidently predicted a "rapture" - a supernatural catching up by God of the worldwide church into Heaven - the onset of a seven-year "Great Tribulation" centered on Jerusalem followed by a "the Second Coming of Christ". All of this, apparently, was to happen by about the year 2000 - and of course it didn't. Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped the promotion of the multi-million-dollar dispensationalist Left Behind series of books and videos that declare: "God isn't finished with the Jews!" "Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies and destroyed! It's the end times! The last days!" Such hysteria totally ignores, or is ignorant of, the facts of the literal, historical fulfilment of the prophecies by Jesus and the early church. Zionist politics and fallacious dispensationalist arguments
What I have discovered is that Christians who doctrinally buy into a pro-Israel position become partisan and emotionally attached to that position. US televangelist John Hagee and the peddlers of the Left Behind books and films have even become paid agents of the US Jewish Zionist political lobby, running lavish, multi-million dollar fundraisers to promote the Jewish Zionist cause and running multi-million dollar "Holy Land" tourism operations. And then there's the lobbying of US politicians side by side with groups such as the America-Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC) to support Israel with billions of dollars worth of military aid annually to the point now where Israel is ranked as the fifth military power in the world - astounding for such a small nation.
The favourite scripture of the Christian dispensationalists allegedly justify this unconditional support for Israel is Genesis 12:3 where God says to Abraham "I will bless those that bless you and curse those who curse you".
According to their theory America should be the most blessed nation on earth, because of all the military aid they have given to Israel.
They forget that the God of the Bible never was partisan, even towards ancient Israel. Israel suffered under God's judgment whenever it strayed from His laws, commands and principles. Yes, the scriptures tell us God did love the ancient Hebrew people who he chose to carry his law and to prophesy of the coming Messiah. But the objective in God's heart was the establishment of "Abraham and his seed", that is, people of faith from every tribe and nation. St Paul repeatedly teaches that "Abraham's children" are people of faith, that is, believers in Christ, hearers of the Spirit of God and doers of His will.
Jews and Gentiles become one
The Old Testament Psalms teach that the foundation of God's throne is truth and justice. The Christian doctrine is based on the historic, spiritual fact of reconciliation between Jew and Gentile (Ephesians 2:14) not separation. When Christian dispensationalists say “the Jews are God’s chosen people today" they contradict the scripture and create all sorts of problems. For instance, St Paul wrote in Romans 2: “Who is a Jew … a Jew is one inwardly, not of circumcision”. What is he saying there? He goes on to say a "true Jew" is someone with a "circumcised heart", that is, someone who is repentant and humble, not proud - a person of faith. So how can dispensationalists insist people are “true Jews” merely based upon their being born into the religion of Judaism, whose ultimate authority is the Talmud?

St Paul also wrote in the famous passage of Romans 10 that there is "no distinction" and "whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved". Note those words Christians: No distinction. Jesus said as much to the Pharisees who proudly stated "We are Abraham's children" to which Jesus caustically replied "If you were Abraham's children you would do the works of Abraham". He underlined the point by saying: "You are of your father the devil!" What was Jesus saying? Faith and deeds is what counts, not lineage.

So why do the dispensationalist Christians still insist on making a distinction between "Jews" and other people? St Paul teaches again in Galatians that “there is neither Jew nor Greek … all are one in Christ.” Again, why do they make a distinction? Why do they say the Jews have been ordained by God to go through some speculative, prophetic scenario before they can be saved?

The dispensationalists are forced to employ very fancy footwork when confronted with the New Testament Epistle to the Hebrews. Hebrews 8:8 says: “For finding fault, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be.” God made an end to the Israel and Judah of the Old Testament and gave them a new covenant. When did that happen? It happened at the cross of Calvary. It also happened at the destruction of the Jerusalem temple in AD70. Why do the dispensationalists keep insisting that the Old Covenant still applies to these modern-day people called Jews, that is, the followers of the religion of Judaism?
Dispensationalists then seize upon chapter 11 of Romans to justify their position, where St Paul notes that God has definitely not forsaken his "Jewish" (more accurately Hebrew) people. St Paul gives honour to the Hebrews for carrying the Ark of God and the scriptures. He also warns the Christians of the day not to be arrogant about their new faith that they share with the believing Hebrews and that they are grafted in as wild olive shoots to "the main olive tree" which is Israel's long journey that culminated in Christ. In Christ, Israel now becomes a spiritual company of people from all nations, the seed of Abraham.

Modern Israelis are a diverse people
The fact of the matter is, when we look at modern-day Israeli society, we see a relatively diverse people, despite the fact it is a "Jewish state". In terms of religion, Israelis are Jewish, Christian, Muslim and everything else between. The Israelis like to make the point that they are more diverse than their Muslim neighbours. It's a debatable issue but illustrates that attempts by Christian dispensationalists to paint Israelis as some sort of biblical Israel revived are ludicrous. There many Jews who consider themselves secular, with no religious beliefs. There is an ongoing power struggle between secular and religious Israelis. The tragedy of modern Israel is that the nation-state of Israel was built upon the theft of Palestinian land and of division between Jew and Palestinian, which today manifests in a high concrete wall that encircles the Palestinians in a virtual open prison. How ironic is this wall when the epistle written by St Paul said the "wall of division" or "partition" between Jew and Gentile has been broken down by Jesus Christ? The only land lawfully owned by the Zionist settlers was that which was lawfully purchased from its previous owners. To suggest that the God of the Bible had somehow "ordained" the theft of land from Palestinians and 60 years of bloodshed for the supposed cause of restoring the biblical nation of Israel is foolishness at best and blasphemy at worst.

UK Con-servatives employ "psycho-strategist" to "reframe" Britons

“The danger is that we are to be trained to believe what our politicians and public sector - The State - says is right. And we will not even be aware that we have been ‘reframed’ to think so.”

SO-called British conservative politicians want to “alter the behaviour of people" – or as they like to say now, “reframe" them, make them happy to pay more taxes and other things that social engineers of the state think people should do.
To help them do this, they've hired Frenchman, Olivier Oullier, from the Centre for Strategic Analysis. They’re all into “strategies” these days, aren’t they? It's the mark of some sort of Korporate Kulture of Konformity.
Does this mean that David Cameron's Conservative Party have turned neo-Marxist? Sort of. It's really global corporate culture they are following. They're employing the tools of the global corporations who literally brainwash hundreds of millions of people into accepting their mega brands, for example, Coke, Mars, Nike, Intel, Microsoft, KFC, BP and on and on it goes.
Both the French and UK "conservatives" will undoubtedly be paying the French psycho-strategist big money (I don't know exactly how much, but I can guarantee it's a large consultancy fee) compliments of the taxpayers upon whom they want this strategist to do his sneaky work. The question is, how many of his ilk have been used by Australian state and federal governments? Think of any government campaign and you'll see how our bureaucrats are playing us for fools.
A prime example would be Queensland “The Smart State” of Australia, that has been big on green propaganda campaigns and puts its corporate logo/brand on just about 95 percent of all visible signage in the state. "Smart State", for instance, is a code word or brand name if you like, for Agenda 21, the UN program to brainwash people into an environmentalist society where the state and big corporations run and own everything. The USA has some "Smart States" also. Queensland's Watch Every Drop campaign, for instance, told us our water was in danger of running out … which opened the door to multinational water companies such as Veolia to come in an take over our Queensland-owned infrastructure. They even tried to sell the idea of the public drinking "purified water" derived from recycled sewage. Meanwhile, back in the UK, here’s what some British freedom fighters from the website, The UK Column, say about our French technocrat:

"On 3 January 2011, following the UK Column's lead article exposing insider dealing between the Cabinet office and political behavioural training charity Common Purpose, The Independent newspaper revealed that David Cameron had also set up a Cabinet Office Behavioural Insight Team. Formed in July last year, the secretive cell is tasked to "dream up psychological tricks to alter our behaviour" - and on a massive scale.

The Independent article warned how the public is to be reframed or “nudged” into politically acceptable "Social Norms"; starting with healthy eating, voluntary work and tax gathering. While this may seem innocent to some people, these early ‘soft’ targets are already being greatly expanded to include wider central government ideological and political agendas, including Cameron's socialist straitjacket of the Big Society. Elite multi-millionaire Socialist and Tory Chancellor George Osborne has already signed up to Behavioural Economics - another form of mental reframing of individuals and groups, specifically to achieve political economic objectives. Their theory and intent is, that once mentally retrained, we “willingly rush to pay excessive taxes”.

The danger is that we are to be trained to believe what our politicians and public sector - The State - says is right. And we will not even be aware that we have been ‘reframed’ to think so. Never mind the basics - politicians have been proved corrupt, deviant, liars - the Soviet Union would have paid in blood and gold for Cameron’s political mind-control initiative to lock people in a hive mind.

Research by the UK Column now exposes that Cameron’s Lib Con government is collaborating behind closed doors with similar sinister units in the French Government, to develop further plans and techniques to change our natural behaviour. Our investigation of little known Rosie Donachie, who is part of the Behavioural Insight Team under Maude, Gus O’Donnell and David Halpern, reveals that Donachie is a key player and go-between in the mental attack on the British public.

Aside from her position as Senior Advisor with the Cabinet Office Behavioural Insights Team, she is also a Trustee of the Franco-British Council, and is involved with the Party of European Socialists based in Brussels. Not surprisingly for her murky role, she even has two names, being referred to as Rosalin in her Franco-British guise. Tracking Mrs Donachie’s path led UK Column investigative reporters to discover that on 17 November 2010, the Franco British Council had hosted a meeting inside 10 Downing Street attended by a mix of the Cabinet Behavioural Team and their French counterparts.

Alongside Donachie and others, a key attendee at the secretive meeting was top French mind-bender Professor Olivier Oullier, who works directly within French President’s Sarkozy Private Office. The meeting was instigated by Rohan Silva of the No10 Policy Unit following consultation with the Centre for Strategic Analysis of the Prime Minister of France with the aims of: “bringing together experts on behavioral Economics from France and the UK and to seek cross fertilization and generation of concrete proposals through open discussion”, and “to look at practical applications for the science of Behavioural Economics in France and the UK in light of the economic crisis.” Rohan Silva is Senior Policy Advisor to David Cameron and he also sits on the Advisory for progressive Conservatism at DEMOS (a Marxist leaning think tank).

There is, no doubt, an inclination to laugh at the idea that we can be mentally ‘reframed’ or ‘reprogrammed’ into new belief systems and patterns of behaviour. But clearly these people have not been assembled behind closed doors to play games. A simple click on Google will reveal thousands of NLP training organisations, leadership trainers and consultancies. They all state that they can and do change people’s minds. They earn money from doing so. Moreover, whilst NLP and other mental reframing techniques can be used for therapeutic purposes, any technique interfering with the human mind has risks. These may manifest as adverse personality changes, stress or depression.

Stating that: “behavioural economics can be a powerful tool for improving lives when used with care”, the No10 meeting was clearly aware of risks to individuals and the wider public, but according to the notes of the meeting released, seemingly failed to discuss or document those risks.

The truth of the meeting at No 10 is deeply sinister. Modern behavioural manipulation techniques, which includes NLP, can and do, achieve changes in people's behaviour, particularly where the victim, individual or group, adult or child, is unaware that they are being targeted. It is perfectly feasible, as the attendees of No10 are fully aware, to implement political agendas and doctrine by reprogramming people. Consider Hitler Youth, or the Communist Chinese onslaught on the minds of children and young people. These latest insidious techniques, do not have that raw brutality, but unchecked, their stealth, effectiveness, and viral spread presents a far greater danger. The bizarre picture of "global security and diversity".

THE original article under the heading "Terrorism, airport searches and the totalitarian nature of globalisation" was emailed to members of the Australian Christian Lobby. I put it to them that the “big picture” presented here has been neglected by too many Christian activists or dismissed as mere conspiracy theory. As a result, their attention has been diverted from the source of the problem. "How many German Christians in the 1930s foresaw the nature of that which was coming upon their country?" I asked. "I think and hope we can learn from history."

Some say the family is the crucial issue for the nation. That is largely true, but politics affects the family and the overarching political agenda facing Australia today is the phenomenon called globalization, whose aim is “global governance”. This is the big political picture that encapsulates most of the social/political issues that we as Christian activists are concerned about. Most, if not all government “reform” policy in Australia is related to the process of globalisation being implemented via the numerous UN treaties and more recently the agendas of the G8, G11, G20, NATO and related conferences that our politicians spend increasing amounts of time attending. The covert imposition of UN jurisdiction in Australia is why several Christian activists have recently charged Australian public figures with treason.

Globalisation in itself is morally neutral, but the globalisation that is being gradually enforced is not a benign process either by design or the desperation of those who seek to impose it. As stated by Aldous Huxley his 1962 lecture at Berkley Campus, the powers that be are now able to stage “the ultimate revolution” through various techniques of social engineering including terrorism: “… the techniques of terrorism have been known since time immemorial … it’s exceedingly difficult to see how pure terrorism can function indefinitely. It can function for a fairly long time, but sooner or later you have to bring in an element of persuasion, of getting people to consent to what is happening to them. It seems to me the ultimate revolution with which we are now faced is precisely this: That we are in the process of developing a whole series of techniques, which will enable the controlling oligarchy … to get people to love their servitude... a number of techniques about which I talked (in Brave New World) seem to be here already. This is the ultimate in malevolent revolution, shall we say ... I mean, what might happen if these fantastically powerful techniques were used by unscrupulous people in authority.”

So shat does Huxley mean by “techniques”? Clearly means social engineering by persuasion. Abortion, feminism, euthanasia, free love, gay marriage, gay rights, embryo farming, anti-vilification, decriminalized prostitution, etc, etc are all the results of propaganda and persuasion in a process of overthrowing social norms and imposing a global, secular, socialist and fascist (corporatist) system based on United Nations jurisdiction. But if Huxley and others maintain that terrorism has historically been used in social engineering, who is really behind the terrorism of today?

Given that this idea of a “new world order” has long been the vision of various totalitarian, utopian and even occultic groups, should we be surprised that part of its modus operandi is terrorism. Of course, conspiracy theories abound around this knowledge, including various “biblical end times” scenarios that I don’t subscribe to. What I do know is that we are in the middle of a revolution that sound very much like the one Huxley wrote about in Brave New World in 1931 and that later warned about in the early 60s. Professor Carroll Quigley wrote favourably of the globalist scheme in Tragedy and Hope. Thanks to the internet, we can hear for ourselves what Huxley and Quigley were saying.

Today we also have a global “environ-mental” revolution, based upon the UN Agenda 21 program that came in on the heels of the 1960s hippie revolution. Various researchers have shown environmentalism to be a continuation of the eugenics movement going back to the late 19^th century. Agenda 21 is essentially about the imposition of “global governance”, deemed necessary to “save the planet” from the “global threat” of “climate change”, “global warming”, “species extinction” and so on. This psychological terrorism has been thrown at us incessantly since the 1970s – the so-called threat of ecological collapse. I guess our Creator never factored in the effects of carbon dioxide on His creation (excuse the sarcasm). On this front we see the erosion of private property rights under “environmental law” and the elevation of nature equal to or even above human life. Population control/environmentalism/eugenics for some in the West now is “justification” for one-child families. We breath out carbon dioxide. Should humans be criminalized? Many environmentalists say our numbers should be reduced. By extermination? Yes, some like the distinguished Professor Eric Pianka of the University of Texas believes so. Perhaps I’m being a little unfair on “globalisation”, but it does not look pretty from other angles.

The War on Terror

Another front of globalisation, and the one I draw your urgent attention to, is the so-called War on Terror. We have heard of the War on Drugs and War on Cancer, but this “war” is where the violent, revolutionary side of this current globalisation trend is very clearly revealed to those who have done the research. This is the area where your world view may be seriously challenged. While the threat of Islamic extremism is real, please do not be so naïve to think that terrorism is not practiced by the West. Nevertheless, the threat of Islamic extremism has been (i) deliberately transported into the West by the globalisation policies of mass migration and multiculturalism and (ii) cultivated by western intelligence agencies and used as the bogeyman to blame for almost every act of terrorism. If you’re not up with what really happened on 9-11, for instance, I can only advise you to spend some time looking at the work of people such as Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth. http://www.ae911truth.org/ This may shake your world view, but don’t just react, analyze and ask the questions that must be asked.

As highlighted above, there has recently been uproar in the US over “enhanced pat downs” and frequent harassment, assaults and humiliation of people going through airport security checks. There is also the issue of people being forced to take “virtual strip searches” via naked body scanners. Of course, this is all about the “War on Terror”. Apparently we are supposed to be living in constant fear of being bombed, assassinated or hijacked and for this reason we should give up our historic rights and freedoms and subject ourselves to humiliation at the open-palmed hands of government officers who are in fact supposed to be our “public servants”. What they are now doing to airline passengers could easily be deemed sexual assault or at best, inappropriate touching.

The question must be asked then, is the terrorism we hear about so often actually being used by the revolutionary, globalist forces to take away our traditional rights and freedoms? Well, if Michael Scheuer, the former CIA officer in charge of investigating Osama Bin Laden can call the 911 Commission “a lie from top to bottom” we have a problem. Do you think a CIA employee in such a position might be qualified to make such a claim? But it’s not only Scheuer who has uncovered massive inconsistencies, lies and cover-ups in relation to recent terrorism events such as 911. It has also been the case with the London Tube bombings, the Mumbai attacks and pre-911 acts such as the Oklahoma City bombing. And what do we do with the former head of the US Army War College Alan Sabrosky Ph.D, who insists 911 was “a Mossad operation”. Shocking? Not if you know some of the history of Mossad. If you’re offended by this, I’m sorry. The truth can hurt. Yes, those who have conducted the research, such as Scheuer and Sabrosky, are clearly saying that “our side does terrorism”. If Huxley or these people do not convince you on this, then please google Operation Northwoods, or Operation Gladio, or Operation Ajax. Senator Roger Lallemand, head of the Belgian Parliamentary Inquiry into Gladio stated: “In the 1980s a type of media terrorism developed here, which used the media to shock the public and political circles. The terrorism could have two sources, the extreme Left or Right. Or it could be foreign governments and foreign intelligence services. It is a terrorism which aims to destablize democratic society.”

The charge is being made, with voluminous current and historical evidence, that what we are seeing at airports is a “beta test” of an actual program to impose martial law in America and generally speaking, where America goes, we go too. The airport-style screenings have already been used at a bus station in the US. According to online journalist Alex Jones hundreds of mobile “public screening vehicles” are to be put in place in the US. Will this happen here? We already see police using roadblocks and taking internal swabs – all for our safety of course. Should we be asking ourselves what sort of “democracy” are we defending in the Middle East? Are we in fact on the verge of becoming “corporatist” or fascist states? Are we already corporatist states? Some significant research suggests we in the West already are. So what’s next? More terrorism? Bioterrorism? A climate crisis?

I think it’s time for Christians to wake up to and at least question this policy of globalization and “global governance”. I would also ask that ACL put this issue on the agenda and start asking questions of our representatives. What is being signed at the G-20 meetings? Does anyone know? Who authorized our PM to sign documents put together by foreign powers? What exactly is the plan for Australia under Agenda 21? Is private property destined for extinction? Are our traditional freedoms and rights to be extinguished.

Perhaps we should heed the advice of Ben Franklin: “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759. I think it’s time to “blow a trumpet in Zion” and “sound an alarm” on His holy mountain. I would welcome any questions, suggestions, corrections or objections – anything but silence.

Australian capitalist elite grovel to Marxist ideology

MARXIST-inspired feminism, the butt of many a joke and TV comedy send up for the past couple of decades, seemed to be dying a natural death. But feminism is not only back in fashion, it is, ironically, being actively enforced by Australia’s “corporate/capitalist elite”. A case in point is the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

The AICD has ramped up its "gender diversity" program, with its chairman, Rick Lee, seemingly distressed after a survey by the AICD found there were too few women CEOs and "female chairs" in the top 200 Australian companies. But it's not only the AIDC that has jumped on the bandwagon of global political correctness, so has the Business Council of Australia, the Australian Stock Exchange and BHP Billiton.

One would think that Rick Lee, the chairman of Salmat and a non-executive director of Newcrest Mining, would know something about old fashioned free enterprise and entrepreneurialism. No, it seems Mr Lee prefers the role of politically correct bureaucrat to that of hard-knuckled entrepreneur. His role seems barely distinguishable from the bureaucrats who run government departments and enforce, as a matter of policy, the UN global "diversity/biodiversity" agenda.

On ABC Radio National with Fran Kelly on October 6th, Lee was confronted with his own apparently distressing statistics, gathered by the AICD, showing there were "only six women CEOs” in the top 200 companies and "only five female chairs” of company boards. So what’s the problem Mr Lee and Ms Kelly? Do you think large numbers of Australians actually care whether the ratio of male to female CEOs is high or low? In teaching and nursing it seems to be the opposite.

Maybe such statistics just show that a lot of women don’t want to be CEOs or “female chairs”. Maybe, Mr Lee and Ms Kelly (who openly shared Mr Lee's concerns), those statistics just reflect reality? Should we have a problem with reality? That indeed seems to be the case. Was it Karl Rove, the Republican Party spin doctor extraordinaire, who said his role was to create reality? Or are we witnessing game theory, a particularly smart but diabolical form of social engineering practiced by the Rand Corporation?

Meanwhile Mr Lee, in an act of Marxist self-criticism, offered more compensation for the guilt of the damning statistics uncovered by his institute. Yes Commissar, the “global diversity” agenda was now being enforced by his friends in the ASX Corporate Governance Council. They intend to bring in a “requirement” that companies “report on diversity in their policies and move towards having measurable targets”.

The on-air encounter between Mr Lee and Ms Kelly raised visions of an old-style, middle rank Soviet bureaucrat groveling before a chief commissar. Keen to please the Commissar, Mr Lee went on to offer that he and his fellow corporate bureaucrats had started “a mentoring program for our women members”. Commissar seemed somewhat pleased. And yes, enforced diversity was also supported by Mr Lee's friends in the Business Council of Australia, who not only follow gender diversity but biodiversity too - as proven by their for a “price on carbon” – or should that read global environmental tax.

But the groveling self-criticism didn't stop there. Mr Lee further volunteered before "Commissar Kelly" that all company board agendas would now have diversity as “action items”! Yes, women board members and CEOs were hard to find! As such, boards would even look to “non-traditional” sources for women members. Might one now presume that Mr Lee will now be actively seeking out lesbians of ethnic minority status to fill CEO seats? Would that finally fulfill the politically correct ideology in the new global Marxist world of business? Perhaps ex-environment come Finance Minister Penny Wong, the AICD's next guest speaker, will fit the bill?

But will there be no apologies from Mr Lee and the ASX for pushing aside and discriminating against more qualified males in order to hire women to fill the “diversity quotas”. Self-contradiction and double-think at work again shaping the totalitarian agenda.

What is it that prevents otherwise well educated people like Rick Lee, Fran Kelly, ASX, AICD and Business Council of Australia members from understanding that enforced “gender equality and diversity” is essentially a totalitarian, social engineering program? None of them, unlike the fiery former chief of Western Mining, Hugh Morgan, appear to have the courage to question the philosophical pedigree of "gender diversity", "biodiversity" and the like. One has to wonder what benefits companies like Newcrest Mining will reap from that handmaiden of feminism, environmentalism. UN Agenda 21 is a chilling example of how these ideologies are being prepared for global adoption. Do they seriously really believe that "diversity/biodiversity" and trading carbon futures will save the planet?

Again, did it occur to Mr Lee and Ms Kelly that perhaps a lot of women simply don’t aspire to be CEOs or managers? Might it be social reality that most women prefer the job of running households and raising children – probably the most important (and most underpaid) job in the world?

While no sane Australian political or corporate leader would admit to hating motherhood and family life, the ideology of Marxist feminism does in fact denigrate such values. The feminists insist that the state is the ultimate nurturer and owner of children. The corporate sector has proven it is only too keen to fill this role on behalf of government and according to its strict regulations.

The environmental side of this "new order" is revealed by the antics of another corporate bureaucrat who has apparently sold out to the global socialist agenda – Marius Kloppers, CEO of BHP Billiton, who recently called for a “price on carbon”.

It seems KloppersKloppers just wants to assuage his guilt for being involved in the coal industry? After all, a price on carbon means BHP Billiton can flog its carbon credits to the likes of Goldman Sachs and their futures market based on air. Pity about the plummeting price of carbon - perhaps reality is finally sinking in.

It must now be asked, is there a lone voice of dissent among the high-powered members of the Australian Institute of Company Directors? (see below) We wait with bated breath, but we won't wait too long.

MEMBERS of the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition are taking country's state-owned weather research body to the High Court over claims that its records are inaccurate. The dissident scientists accuse the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (Niwa) of using false data to calculate climate change.
If the case proves fixing of figures, watch the corporate-government climate change industry squirm and go into denial mode.
In May, the Climate Science Coalition accused Niwa chief executive John Morgan of misleading Cabinet ministers with its analysis of temperature records.
The CSC scientists said two different sets of records which recorded temperatures for more than 100 years had been "adjusted in an unethical and inaccurate way" and this was the basis for the court action.
Niwa chief climate scientist David Wratt came up with an ingenious excuse for doing this. He said the need to make adjustments was "internationally accepted". Not only that, the original data was freely available on the internet!
Orwell's 1984 was chillingly accurate. Here we have the modern version of Orwellian doublethink - the ability to hold two contradictory beliefs at once. It is similar to the modern phenomenon of outcome-based thinking and management. The true, unadjusted figures are hidden away on the internet but the "adjusted" contradictory figures are the ones being spouted in public. Why? Because "environmental outcomes" are more important than truth.
"Put a price on carbon" is the latest slogan being repeated almost daily in Australia by the climate change industry, which is not only greens but the big corporate sector as well. The Business Council of Australia was all for the Emissions Trading Scheme because (i) carbon trading is “business” for global commodity traders such as Goldman Sachs and (ii) governments are handing out billions to corporations in grants and tax breaks to implement “climate change policy” ie Agenda 21 and globalisation. New Zealand's Dominion Post newspaper reported that the High Court action was being funded by Climate Science Coalition members and donations. The action is being filed through a trust.
The scientists are asking the court to order that records that show a 1 degree Celsius warming trend in nationwide temperatures during the past century are invalid. Spokesman for the scientists, Bryan Leyland, said policy makers were being given a one-sided view on climate change. "We're concerned that vast amounts of money are being spent trying to fight global warming when we're convinced it's not happening." The emissions trading scheme was just one example, and the Government needed to get an opposing view, he told the Dominion Post.
"They use computer models and believe in computer models. I don't believe in them. I believe in looking at data and looking at history."
Niwa claims it has confidence in its figures and in the advice it gave to the Government. The agency refused to comment to the Dominion Post now that the matter was before the court.
Meanwhile, "conservative" NZ Prime Minister John Key has implemented an emissions trading scheme that has just jacked up the cost of living for Kiwis - all for the sake of "reducing carbon emissions". Why? Because CO2 is causing the planet to heat up. Yes, black is white and white is black. Kiwis are paying an extra 3-4c a litre for petrol and an extra 1.2c kilowatt hour for electricity. These translate to higher transport costs, meaning everything from food, clothing and services will rise in price. The Government estimates the average family will pay an extra $165 a year.

Spencer hunger strike grips nation - bureaucrats harass protest buses

HUNDREDS of farmers and their supporters from across Australia rallied in Canberra today, Monday, January 4th, in support of Cooma farmer Peter Spencer's 43-day hunger strike.
The rally took place despite apparent efforts by NSW transport bureaucrats to harass two bus companies sending buses to Canberra from northern NSW.
One of the bus company operators confirmed that a man who identified himself as an inspector from the Department of Road Transport and Infrastructure had called the company on New Year's Day from a motel in Coffs Harbour and announced a "safety inspection" would be conducted on their bus. The company promptly cancelled the previously-announced service to Canberra as such inspections can take up to six hours. Cars were organised instead. The other company was also reported to have cancelled its service.
The rally is part of a growing undercurrent of unrest across Australia over the unchecked power of government bureaucrats violating private property rights through environmental laws. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, back from Copenhagen and his other frequent jaunts to globalist forums, is stepping up attacks on private property and productive industry with massive new carbon taxes based on the fraudulent claims that "excess carbon dioxide" and "greenhouse gases" are causing the planet to heat up uncontrollably.
Rudd is also being supported by State Labor Party administrations in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania who have already been imposing carbon-based restrictions on private property, often driving the property owners into bankruptcy in the process. Peter Spencer has been fighting the green bureaucrats for years, despite being a conservationist himself and preserving bushland areas on his high country property.
But the refusal of government and the NSW and Federal courts to justly compensate him for locking up regrowth vegetation on his own land has sent Peter into bankruptcy and foreclosure of his property. A case before the High Court of Australia may be his only chance.
Trees and shrubs on Spencer's property were taken over by the Australian Government in 2007 for so-called "carbon sinks" apparently required under the Kyoto Protocol.
Prime Minister Rudd has refused to visit Spencer and his office arrogantly told the media Spencer's protest will fail to change government policy.
The protest featured in NSW and national media this week.
Dozens of callers supporting Spencer also flooded Sydney radio station 2SM for several hours. "This whole business of a government ... being able to grab the assets of a citizen and refuse to pay compensation has to stop," one caller told host Richard King. Another caller said the issue was "a constitutional one" and another compared it to the High Court case depicted in the movie The Castle.
Another caller named Brenda noted that 52 farmers who have had land taken from them under green laws had committed suicide.
Spencer is demading a Royal Commission into vegetation laws.
The NSW Government's SEPP 46 regulation is being used to take control of land across the state, effectively putting millions of hectares out of productive use. A farmer calling 2SM explained how landholders across the state are called into meetings under the SEPP 44 regulations. Dear Mrs Boyle:
Sorry to use you as an example, but your cleverly deceptive comments
(technically not lying) about fluoridation of water and the dental health of
Queensland children epitomize a rottenness in western parliamentary
democracy that people are becoming less and less willing to tolerate.
States are also becoming less tolerant of dissent and more totalitarian in
their approach. Who's side are you on, Mrs Boyle?
Are you aware Mrs Boyle, that Queensland bureaucrats were caught falsifying
dental statistics and a detailed complaint about this was made to the Crime
and Misconduct Commission? An investigation, only released after an FOI
request, found "incorrect" interpretation of data in regard to tooth decay
rates between fluoridated and non-fluoridated areas.
Also Mrs Boyle, why do you so carefully deceive your electorate about 'the
majority who support fluoridation'? Did you have a referendum? Isn't it true
Mrs Boyle, that the Bligh administration simply pulled the fluoride
referendum provision out of the legislation?
Isn't it also true Mrs Boyle, that you and other State Labor MPs voted to change the law to allow yourself and other elected representatives to lie to Parliament? Did you consider, Mrs Boyle that lying to Parliament is lying to the people of
Queensland?
Mrs Boyle, you say you "don't see or don't believe" there is evidence of
people being harmed by fluoride. Well, have you even looked for evidence Mrs
Boyle? Do you and the Bligh administration even care about fluoride
depositing in children's brains, bones or pineal glands that peer-reviewed
scientific studies warn of?
The Europeans ban fluoridation but our politicians (including the State Opposition Leader) give it glowing approval. What logical explanation can there be for this, Mrs Boyle? Is this just a matter of following orders from above? Do you realise Mrs Boyle, that you are employed by the people who elected you, and lawfully, you should not be taking orders from anyone else?
Is it not sadly true Mrs Boyle, that the Bligh administration only pretends
to listen to people and then practically spits in their faces by refusing to
listen or act upon objections to fluoride and refusing to follow plebiscites
on local government amalgamations?
Is it not true Mrs Boyle, that you and the Premier actually follow commands issued by the "Directors General" and the "Co-ordinator General" of the State? Is it not true that these chief bureaucrats in turn take orders from UN agencies and global
corporate-government think tanks that serve the interests, essentially, of
global banks and corporations? Is it not true Mrs Boyle, that your own Labor
Party members know this, which is why many of them so strongly oppose State
asset sales?
Mrs Boyle, why do you think Americans are shouting down politicians at town
hall meetings? No, it's not nice, it's not polite but do you agree that
represents a deep frustration at the subversion of the western parliamentary
system by these forces of "global corporate power"?
Is it not true Mrs Boyle, that merging government and big business is historically a trait of fascism? Isn't it true Mrs Boyle, that Mussolini's black-shirt fascism
was relatively quaint compared with what you now represent - a
modern state, enforced at one level by scientific and systematic propaganda,
at another level by bureaucratic harassment (eg the new enforced
Sustainability Declarations, parking tickets, water fines, pet
registration and microchipping, mandatory this and mandatory that) and at
another level by armed physical intimidation by black-uniformed SWAT teams?
I'm actually not particularly partisan when it comes to party politics Mrs
Boyle and I know most politicians want to do the right thing, but my hat
goes off to the Liberals who voted against the ETS on principle, because
their constituents were demanding it. In fact it was a revolutionary act!
Politicians carried out the will of the people as they are lawfully, and
constitutionally obliged to do.
So Mrs Boyle, will you:
(1) Reveal to us who ordered, advocated or lobbied the elected
representatives of Queensland to fluoridate the water supply?
(2) Reveal to us why the European decision to ban fluoridation apparently
has no substance?
Would it not be unlawful for you Mrs Boyle to disregard these questions? In
such a case, would not the people of Queensland be justified in seeking your

Grassroots Australia rises up against carbon dictatorship

FORMER Goldman Sachs Australia chief Malcolm Turnbull can kiss his job as Federal Opposition Leader goodbye because he has ignored the will of the Australian people not to be sucked into the global carbon dictatorship. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has also betrayed the Australian people, but he runs a party dictatorship. A Labor Party MP who defects is as good as gone for life.
Turnbull has been abandoned by his parliamentary party members because they are listening to grassroots party members and the general public who don't go along with the global carbon scam and who don't want Australia turned into some kind of UN-run green dictatorship based on fraudulent science. Neither do the Liberal Party members like to see their leader doing deals with Fabian socialist/Marxist Kevin Rudd who is ideologically committed to the idea of one world government. Turnbull, of course, says it's all "a matter of principle" to save the planet.
Millions of people across the western world in fact reject this monstrous, so-called carbon pollution crisis because they understand basic science. CO2 is not toxic. We all breathe it and it is essential for life. Thousands of scientists also reject the claims of global warming theory. Australians have also heeded the warnings of people like Lord Christopher Monckton, who says Copenhagen is the door to a global socialist dictatorship of international carbon committees.
Turnbull and Rudd of course, know what side their bread is buttered on and that they 'must' go along with the global charade. Why? Because the people who fund the Australian Labor and Liberal parties, the big corporates such as Goldman Sachs, have already invested in the carbon trading scam. And scam it is, as confirmed by the emails leaked from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia.
The emails clearly reveal attempts by climate scientists to block the release of Freedom of Information requests for climate data for four years, to skew existing data, to admit to have no evidence of global warming and to censor and defame the scientists who reject the global warming theory.
The climate scam and the threat of Australia losing its sovereignty under a UN 'low carbon' (read global governance) regime has not been missed by the Liberal Party membership or Australians in general. Rudd and Turnbull's betrayal of Australia to this global carbon dictatorship is only being protected by the mainstream media and the ABC in particular, who have avoided investigating the leaked UK climate science emails. But there are even cracks in the media protection of the global climate change industry, even by global warming theory supporters such as writer George Monbiot.
The Liberal Party, in league with the National Party and millions of other Australians who want to defend freedom and their way of life, have an historic chance to take a stand against an enforced global carbon dictatorship.

"AS global warming hysteria rises to a crescendo ahead of the Liberal Party meeting this weekend I would like to add just two words: ‘Henry’s Law’ for those who have forgotten more chemistry than they were ever taught.Wikipedia relates: “In chemistry, Henry’s law is one of the gas laws, formulated by William Henry in 1803.” It states: “At a constant temperature, the amount of a given gas dissolved in a given type and volume of liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas in equilibrium with that liquid – an equivalent way of stating the law is that the solubility of a gas in a liquid at a particular temperature is proportional to the pressure of that gas above the liquid.”The science fact is that the atmospheric level of CO2 is always in balance with the sea temperature as postulated by William Henry two centuries ago. It does not matter how much CO2 is pumped into the air, it will always find an equilibrium concentration as a function of the sea temperature.In other words, if the sea temperature rises, so will the atmospheric concentration of CO2 – regardless of whether any extra CO2 has been produced on Earth. Similarly the CO2 concentration in air will fall when the sea temperature falls – regardless of the amount of CO2 produced on earth.This happens because CO2 entering the sea forms into the aqueous, then bicarbonate and then carbonate radicals. To come back from the bicarbonate state the sea temperature would have to rise above 50 deg C and to about 700 deg C for the carbonate to disassociate. This leaves only the aqueous component of CO2 in the sea available for re-release to the atmosphere. This component’s concentration is solely dependent on sea temperature and the atmospheric partial pressure of CO2.It is therefore fair to say that CO2 is very, very, very, soluble in sea water. The last two ‘verys’ form into a one-way street capturing CO2 forever and a day – a bottomless pit if you like. The sea will never get super saturated with CO2, because the bicarbonate and carbonate ions have myriad end uses in the oceans most of which end up as calcium carbonate or free carbon. Of all the problems facing this world CO2 is not one of them.I am surprised from all the discussion held on this subject no one I have come across has focussed on the solubility aspects of CO2. GOVERNMENTS, reciting the mantra ‘reduce your carbon footprint’ are hiking up electricity and water prices so they and the multinational water and power companies can rake in some amazing profits.
Water, electricity, lightbulbs and other products related to'environment' have all become fair game for a government/corporate green profiteering scheme that robs us all.
Gold Coast pool maintenance people say it normally costs about $80 to refill your swimming pool after you have built it or carried out repairs. But when the State Government declares ‘water restrictions’ the refilling price suddenly soars to about $1000. That’s a tenfold price rise and the State Government pockets the profits while telling us it’s naughty to use ‘too much’ water and it’s all because of ‘climate change’.
Meanwhile Veolia Water, the French multinational water company that also runs Queensland buses, will start pumping highly profitable water from the Tugun desalination plant when restrictions kick in. Do you think Veolia they knew this was coming? You bet they did. This is a global resource scam based on creating shortages.
So it is also, with electricity. In South Australia there are fairly frequent ‘brownouts’, that is, periods when demand cannot be supplied, and supplies are reduced. And just like our water, prices also ‘go through the roof’. The scam, or is it just incompetence, has not missed the sharp mind of financial commentator Robert Gottleibson. In an article titled Rudd’s Carbon Madness, Gottliebson warns eastern states will soon be experiencing the same. And don't think energy saving lightbulbs will save the day? A friend has noticed that these‘power saving’ lightbulbs cost 10 times the old style 40c bulbs and last about a month longer. Great deal eh? Not only that, the ‘environmentally friendly’ lightbulb is full of toxic mercury that can poison you if you break one inside your house. And what about millions of them that eventually find their way to the tip?
Gottliebson meanwhile, says brownouts in the eastern states are “almost a certainty within 16 months”. That’s when businesses will start paying huge money for power, unless you get a fixed power supply contract. In Adelaide when brownouts happen, companies with a fixed-price contract can shut down, keep paying workers and make money by selling their power entitlement back into the grid - as with the solar power deal offered by State Governments. Back-up generators can also be used to generate power to sell back into the grid. “Consumers need to develop alternative energy sources to electricity,’’ says Gottliebson. "It's carbon madness. Carbon trading schemes win votes but when adopted by a small nation alone are more likely increase rather than reduce carbon emissions.” Indeed.
Gottleibson has warned previously that carbon policy has made upkeep of Victoria’s brown coal power stations unprofitable for the companies that run them. These power stations in the LaTrobe Valley provide a quarter of the eastern states' power, but because of ‘carbon madness’ they are likely to fail more often. Bringing coal gas to the southern states will also hike the price of power, despite emitting less carbon. Few people are also talking about the fact that brown coal being used to fire a new demonstration plant in Victoria is relatively clean burning.

On the History Channel program, Thomas puts forward what chemtrails watchers and internet sites have been observing for years. Water vapour and rain is prevented from forming. Drought is induced. So who would induce drought? How about the governments and corporations that profit from expensive water for a start? Thomas says their 'deep sky' informant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that a program to spray the upper atmosphere actually exists (suprise, surprise) : “He described this program of spraying chemical trails at high altitudes in so-called commanded airspace where commercial airplanes are routed around and beneath tanker airplanes belonging to the US Airforce.”

Climate change is caused by the activities of human beings, who emit CO2, which is a deadly gas that must be restricted and reduced at all costs. Climate change is a fact because government scientists say it is. People who question climate change are 'climate change deniers' and as such, shouldn't be taken too seriously.
Health: Humanity faces a terrible onslaught by 'incurable' diseases such as cancer, AIDS and now rouge flu viruses that mutate season by season. However, a brave global network of white-coated scientists, supported by our government health departments, is feverishly working to come up with vaccines to fight this deadly onslaught. Banks take deposits or borrow money on the open market to lend it to us, therefore all bank loans must be paid back or the lenders to the banks lose their money. Only high or low interest rates can regulate the flow of money because there is 'only so much money to go around'.
Government: Government is all about the party in power and there are really only a few parties to vote for. Independents should not be in parliament but we sometimes have to put up with them anyway. The party in power can do what it likes because they have the numbers. Whether or not the laws passed by the party in power are lawful, is irrelevant and we shouldn't even worry about that. Government is not about important issues such as the law, the Constitution, rights and freedom. Government is about who runs the party in power, who the leader is and who wants to be leader.

'Radical' North Queensland party seeks to represent its own region

SEPT. 2, 2009: Watch Big Media try to ignore the infant North Queensland Party (NQP), which has secured incorporation as a political entity from the state's Office of Fair Trading. The party promotes the 'radical concept' of a political party actually representing it's own region as opposed to the faceless state and commonwealth big party operatives who direct your local MP to vote in line with policy set by corporate donors and super-bureaucrats. NQP is alarmed, for instance, about the moves by the multi-billion dollar US-based globalist thinktank the Pew Foundation, which wants to shut down the Coral Sea to 'save fish species'. That is a big fat lie. It's is simply globalisation and control of resources by international bureaucrats and a few big corporations. The big parties are saying nothing about this.

NQP meanwhile, is beginning a major membership drive. Party secretary MATTHEW FILIPPI says formal incorporation will enable the new party to open a bank account, use the exclusive use of the NQP name, and have it's detailed constitution approved by the Office of Fair Trading. "Now that we are formally, legally incorporated", says Mr Filippi, "we can move forward with the range of policies we are developing, in to which the wishes and ideas of party members will be taken on-board". Any political party must have 500 members to field party candidates in a state or federal election, and Mr. Filippi is confident that "the magic figure" will be realised well-ahead of the next state election, not due for over three years. "Our focus is entirely on North Queensland" stresses Mr. Filippi, "and rescuing the region from the decades of neglect and exploitation foisted upon us by the Brisbane-centric politicians and their party bosses".
Mr Filippi has researched the history of North Queensland party groups and movements, and discovered that a North Queensland Party led by Mr Frank Rossiter, was well-advanced in Townsville several decades ago. Mr Rossiter has been described as the 'father' of the Burdekin Dam. Other prominent NQP members in Townsville through the 70s , eighties and nineties were Max Keating, Alex Caldwell and Frank Cattoni. Mr Cattoni designed an impressive North Queensland flag, the centre-piece of which was a Marlin, the game fish, a reference to big game fishing off Cairns. "We're well aware that Townsville is critical to the success of the 'new' NQP - and we already have a dynamic sub-committee in Townsville," said Mr Filippi. Well John, 10 points for honesty. You're right. Politicians don't read bills, they just vote either for or against them as their party and corporate sponsors direct. The people have had enough of the slick, sick political process.

Meanwhile Obama believers are accusing a few republican groups and 'insurance companies' of orchestrating the protest movement. They're saying it's 'racist' to criticize Obama. But such nonsense will not stick because this uprising is more than that. There's real spirit of liberty in the air . People are really angry. It's not just about a health bill, it's about people who are sick and tired of political scam after political scam and destruction of their liberty by politicians who just 'play the game' and the media who play along with them. "I can confirm to you this is it. We have destiny in our hands," said broadcaster Alex Jones in an August 11 broadcast.

The Murdoch-run Fox News meanwhile, has been supporting the rallies. Foxes can be cunning, but like the foxes captured by Sampson of the Bible, the modern-day Fox has been spreading the revolutionary fire across America. Ron Paul rallies were followed by tea parties across the American landscape this year, and now the town hall protests. This movement has momentum and popular support. This revolution spells renewal for America but also great danger as a corrupt US military-industrial-banking elite will fight dirty to keep the barely living body of America in their fangs. JUNE 30, 2009: AUSTRIAN science journalist Jane Burgermeister has had enough of the antics of the World Health Organisation and its bosom buddies the global pharmaceutical companies. She has laid charges with the FBI accusing WHO and others of terrorism and conspiracy to commit mass murder. It started back in February when Baxter Pharmaceuticals 'accidentally' contaminated bird flu vaccine and sent it out to various countries from its Austrian labs. Burgermeister has also prepared an injunction against forced vaccination, which is being filed in the US. Her actions follow her charges filed in April against Baxter AG and Avir Green Hills Biotechnology of Austria, for producing contaminated bird flu vaccine, alleging this was a deliberate act to cause and profit from a pandemic.
Burgermeister has named as other defendants Barack Obama, WHO, the UN and high ranking government and corporate officials. These include UN System Coordinator for Influenza, David Nabarro, Director-General of WHO, Margaret Chan, Secretary of Department of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sibelius, Secretary of Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, bankers David de Rothschild, David Rockefeller and George Sorosv, Chancellor of Austria Werner Faymann and Austrian Health Minister , Alois Stoger as part of an 'international corporate criminal syndicate' which has developed, produced, stockpiled and employed biological weapons to eliminate the population of the U.S. and other countries for financial and political gain. That's a pretty big call for an obscure journalist, but all power to her. The charges contend that these defendants conspired with each other and others to devise, fund and participate in the final phase of the implementation of a covert international bioweapons program involving the pharmaceutical companies Baxter and Novartis. They did this by bioengineering and then releasing lethal biological agents, specifically the “bird flu” virus and the “swine flu virus” in order to have a pretext to implement a forced mass vaccination program which would be the means of administering a toxic biological agent to cause death and injury to the people of the U.S. This action is in direct violation of the Biological Weapons Anti-terrorism Act.
Burgermeister's findings have also been backed up by Washington investigative journalist Wayne Madsen, who has been told by scientific sources close to the UN that the swine flu virus has been made in labs. Australian scientist Adrian Gibbs believes the swine flu was 'accidentally' made in labs. Researcher Alan Watt also discovered a US Centres for Disease Control article from 2004 saying the CDC would begin work to splice bird flu and human flu viruses and conduct tests on it. Meanwhile Baxter has a lab in Mexico near where the swine flu panic started - purely co-incidental of course - and most of Australia's cases have been in Melbourne where WHO's only southern hemisphere flu research facility is located. Baxter and Australian company CSL meanwhile, are manufacturing anti-swine flu vaccine. Anyone for a shot? The chief of WHO's Melbourne facility is Professor Anne Kelso, who can be contacted via the website http://www.influenzacentre.org/
In her April charges, Burgermeister noted that Baxter’s lab in Austria, one of the supposedly most secure biosecurity labs in the world, did not adhere to the most basic and essential steps to keep 72 kilos of a pathogen classified as a bioweapon secure and separate from all other substances under stringent biosecurity level regulations, but it allowed it to be mixed with the ordinary human flu virus and sent from its facilities in Orth in the Donau.
In February, when a staff member at BioTest in the Czech Republic tested the material meant for candidate vaccines on ferrets, the ferrets died. This incident was not followed up by any investigation from the WHO, EU, or Austrian health authorities. There was no investigation of the content of the virus material, and there is no data on the genetic sequence of the virus released.
In answer to parliamentary questions on May 20th, the Austrian Health Minister, Alois Stoger, revealed that the incident had been handled not as a biosecurity lapse, as it should have been, but as an offence against the veterinary code. A veterinary doctor was sent to the lab for a brief inspection.
Burgermeister makes reference to a licensed Novartis bird flu vaccine that killed 21 homeless people in Poland in the summer of 2008 and had as its “primary outcome measure” an “adverse events rate”, thereby meeting the U.S. government’s own definition of a bioweapon (a biological agent designed to cause an adverse events rate, i.e death or injury) with a delivery system (injection).
She alleges international pharmaceutical companies and international government agencies have positioned themselves to profit from triggering the pandemic with contracts to supply vaccines. The US market is 'guaranteed' because Americans will be forced to take the vaccine without their consent in accordance with the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act, National Emergency Act, National Security Presidential Directive/NSPD 51, Homeland Security Presidential Directive/HSPD-20, and the International Partnership on Avian and Pandemic Influenza.
In the U.S. since 2008, Burgermeister charges that those named in her allegations have implemented new and/or accelerated the implementation of laws and regulations designed to strip the citizens of the U.S. of their lawful constitutional rights to refuse an injection. These people have created or allowed provisions to remain in place that make it a criminal act to refuse to take an injection against pandemic viruses. They have imposed other excessive and cruel penalties such as imprisonment and/or quarantine in FEMA camps while barring the citizens of the U.S. from claiming compensation from injury or death from the forced injections. This is in violation of the laws governing federal corruption and the abuse of office as well as of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Through these actions, the named defendants have laid the groundwork for mass genocide.
Using the “swine flu” as a pretext, the defendants have preplanned the mass murder of the U.S. population by means of forced vaccination. They have installed an extensive network of FEMA concentration camps and identified mass grave sites, and they have been involved in devising and implementing a scheme to hand power over the U.S. to an international crime syndicate that uses the UN and WHO as a front for illegal racketeering influenced organized crime activities, in violation of the laws that govern treason.
She further charges that the complex of pharmaceutical companies consisting of Baxter, Novartis and Sanofi Aventis are part of a foreign-based dual purpose bioweapons program, financed by this international criminal syndicate and designed to implement mass murder to reduce the world’s population by more than 5 billion people in the next ten years. Their plan is to spread terror to justify forcing people to give up their rights, and to force mass quarantine in FEMA camps. Is it any wonder Nine News is suffering at the ratings? Perhaps the public has had enough of its tattle-tale, goody-two-shoes style of reporting. Nine has gone a little strong on this stuff led by 60 Minutes (tsk, tsk, tsk) reporter Liam Bartlett with his ‘Mr Good Guy, old-fashioned, simple, clean-cut values’ persona, out to expose everything naughty and bad – or is that the way he really is? Nine reporter Brendan Hockings’ report on rockfall dangers at the Glasshouse Mountains (Nine News Brisbane) is another case in point. Nine was out to chide the naughty people who were putting themselves in danger by ignoring official signs about dangerous rock falls (tut, tut, oh my gosh, what next!). Brave Brendan even pursued one of the naughty climbers who shot back 'You don't have my consent to film me'.
It’s a similar thing whenever an accident happens. It’s the old hackneyed suck-up-to-the-cops line: ‘You naughty people are all travwing too fast! The powice are gunna getcha! We need more speed camwas and tuffa fines!’ I use childish pronunciation because that is what the media acts like too often – little tell-tale kids running to teacher/nanny state in the playground every time something goes wrong.
But a lot of people are getting sick of the oppressive regulatory regime the media has so often cheered for, with speed cameras everywhere and now tasers to keep the unwashed, unruly public in line – the ones who obviously don’t watch Nine in order to learn the nice values of Liam Bartlett. But I did see a glimmer of hope for TV news – a senior Seven reporter actually challenged the NSW Police Commissioner (no less), over the brutal tasering of some drunk who was lucky he didn't have a heart condition or else he might well have died. But I suppose Liam and Brendan would simply nod their heads in solemn agreement with the police saying: “Well, you shouldn’t get drunk and act badly. Naughty people deserve to get tasered!” Do you get my point Nanny Nine?

MERRY England is the bastion of democracy, right? Wrong. Now US radio host Michael Savage has been banned by the Home Secretary from entering the UK because he speaks against illegal immigration (shock horror!) in the US. The UK law (and Australian law) says to express such an opinion is “hate speech”, which translated from Marxist-Trotskyite rhetoric, means ‘expressing an incorrect and/or prohibited belief’. If a government can ban hate, can they also ban love? I guess so. So you don’t like right wingers? Ok, then, how about Canada banning leftist MP George Galloway? Are we seeing a pattern here? Ever heard of ‘global governance’? Incidentally, has Home Secretary Jacqui Smith (right) ever heard of ‘freedom of speech’ or ‘tolerance’? That’s why we’re in Afghanistan, isn’t it Ms Smith? Aren’t we ‘defending freedom and democracy’ from those nasty, intolerant Taliban with their extreme beliefs? No siree, says Ms Smith: “Coming to this country is a privilege. IN 2005, Queensland law professor Professor Suri Ratnapala, issued a damning indictment of Queensland's Vegetation Management Act. Four years later, velvet glove dictator Anna Bligh, 'beefed up' the laws before the State election as a sop to the Green Left. In the intervening period and unknown to the urban masses of the south east, Queensland's Green Gestapo has literally raided property after property in the rural areas of the state, imposing onerous regulations, fines and even forced bankruptcy on those rural folk who do not literally sign their property over to state control. Following is an extract from the professor's investigation, presented at a 2005 conference of the Samuel Griffith Society.

"The Vegetation Management Act (VMA) violates almost all of the basic principles of constitutionalism and good government. The VMA is not an accident or isolated instance, but a dangerous regulatory model that is spreading across the economy and society. The Queensland Electoral and Administrative Review Commission (EARC), following an extensive investigation, published its Report on the Review of the Office of Parliamentary Counsel in 1991. The Queensland Parliament enacted the Legislative Standards Act 1992 to implement EARC's recommendations.
"The impressive Act lays down a series of "fundamental legislative principles" to be observed by lawmakers in Queensland. These salutary principles proclaim Parliament's commitment to constitutional government. They require that legislation has regard to the rights and liberties of individuals and the institution of Parliament, and set out a series of standards that condemn the grant of ill-defined administrative powers, inconsistency with the principles of natural justice, the reversal of the onus of proof in criminal cases, entry into private premises and search and seizure of private property without judicial warrant, retrospective imposition of deprivations or punishments, compulsory acquisition of property without paying compensation, grant of immunity to officials from prosecution or civil actions, inappropriate delegation of legislative power, the enactment of "Henry VIII clauses" that allow the amendment of Acts by delegated legislation, and the removal of delegated legislation from the scrutiny of Parliament.11

This is not policy in the ordinary sense, but is a legislative instrument that controls the other powers under the Act, in particular the preparation of regional vegetation management codes.12 Despite its binding effect, it is deemed not to be subordinate legislation.13 Similarly, declarations (and interim declarations) of holdings as areas of "high nature conservation value" or areas "vulnerable to land degradation", and the codes governing vegetation clearing in those areas, are deemed not to be subordinate legislation.14 Since subordinate legislation requires parliamentary approval, the sole purpose of these exclusions is to remove these instruments from parliamentary scrutiny and hence public debate.15
Given their legislative nature these instruments are not generally subject to judicial review. Instead of the usual legislative practice, the Act establishes a consultative process, including review by the Minister's own advisory committee. While land owners and the public may present their views, the law ultimately is what the Minister wills. This is the classic instance of the process open to capture by those who engineer it, in this instance the Green lobby. The process is structurally biased and insulated from the glare of public debate. There is no appeal from these Executive laws to Parliament or to the courts."

For the 'crime' of cutting down secondary growth trees farmers face fines of $160,000. In other words: "We will send you broke and drive you off your land if you dare touch the trees that we own and control."
Bligh and her gang of corporate thieves don't own the land. They unlawfully lay claim to it via their corrupt regulatory regime that allows their green gestapo to enter a property at any time to give orders on behalf of the state.

Meanwhile in Cape York, Bligh's power-drunk government is making 'Wild River' declarations. In UN Agenda 21 parlance, that means the rivers belong to international bureaucracies and banks and 'sorry about that indigenous persons' but we pay you allowances so shut up.

Pearson says Bligh and company did a deal with greenies before the election but held off the announcement of the rivers decision for electoral purposes. The Archer, Lockhart and Stewart rivers have been gazetted as 'wild', but five others on Cape York Peninsula will follow suit later this year.
Pearson says Bligh and company's claim to be protecting 'endangered rivers' is a total lie as there are only two mines in Cape York Peninsula - the bauxite mine at Weipa, and a sand mine at Cape Flattery. Cape York is also the least populated cattle region in the entire country and there is not a sawmill in the entire region.
And guess what? We can't accuse Anna Bligh, the former Gold Coast schoolgirl, of discrimination. Pearson notes that the Aborigines are losing custody of their homelands. No farmers, no indigenous people. Congratulations Bligh. You and your global corporate plutocrat controllers are committing a type of genocide - depopulation of entire regions. You are removing people from the land and herding them into your 'human habitat zones' as per the UN Agenda 21. But hey, as long as you keep smiling for Brisbane-Gold Coast TV land, then all will be fine.
Pearson told the ABC he wants to get isolated Aborigines out of welfare dependency and passivity but says the rest of the country is saying: "Well, you can stay on welfare, because we're not going to allow you to develop any economic base. All of the decisions about the use of the land are going to be taken in West End in Brisbane".

MARCH 16, 2009: The New Zealand South Island city of Dunedin is the ultimate contrast to the Gold Coast. For tourists it’s a transition from the brash beachfront of high-rise glitz to a sedate, civilized provincial city of some 118.000 people. Where the Gold Coast boasts glassy residential towers, Dunedin parades one of the richest displays of Victorian (and more recent) architecture anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere. The Otago Railway Station and nearby hotels (above left) are punctuated by examples of some not so pretty styles as seen in the distinctive but garish 60s office building (right) adjoining a Victorian frontage. A steep city centre street (above right) also feature art-deco 20s-era apartments. A couple of ultra-mod examples are Otago University's Centre for Innovation and the Information Services Building.
Getting to Dunedin from Australia meanwhile, is not so easy over winter. Air New Zealand plans to suspend flights between Dunedin and Sydney from April 16 to October 24 2009, but the Brisbane link will stay open. That’s a good thing for people from balmy Queensland, who still have the opportunity for not only the popular Aussie jaunt to the South Island snowfields in winter, but to escape the summer humidity for some refreshing Otago weather. Mind you, Otago records some of New Zealand’s hottest summer temperatures with brief bursts into the mid 30s. In such circumstances, a quick dip at a Dunedin beach or in one of the high country lakes will very quickly remind you you’re in southern latitudes.
Dunedin, perhaps like Adelaide, likes to defy its own staid image. Fed by the annual intake to Otago University, New Zealand’s oldest institution of higher learning, the city naturally has a vibrant youth culture. Dunedin bands claim their own particular sound – although descriptions of that hometown sound are a bit vague. Students do get a bit out of hand in March at the start of the academic year. We negotiated dozens of them clad in caveman outfits surging across the road towards town. The annual toga parade turned a little ugly and vile this year and a few years ago there was a real riot in the student quarter. But don’t fear, it’s mostly all good fun. Dunedin’s cold snaps cool off the worst hotheads and send you scurrying into one of the many cosy internet cafes and pubs around The Octagon in the city centre, graced with a statue of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.
A couple of nights later on a quiet Monday night we chanced upon the spacious Arc Café, looking for some internet time. As a local death metal band thrashed away at practice in the adjoining live music venue, café proprietor Kieran Dooley most generously obliged with some $2 brewed coffee as a ‘swap’ for some free PC use. Kieran likes everything organic and his chocolate covered banana cake was superb. The city also has a great range of secondhand and antique stores on Princess St that my wife and daughter couldn’t resist. One example is Odds ’n’ Ends run by a charming elderly gent with a long white beard. He specializes in cups and saucers. The jam-packed place could keep you busy for hours. Across the road is the trendy Purple Rain run by a Dutch-Kiwi man by the name of Fritz (top left) who has tapped into some great supplies of quality retro such as his beloved Wurlitzer juke box and a big old booming cathode tube radio that recalls an exceptional and long-lost AM sound. Fritz (upper right), like other Dunedinites, seems to appreciate the city’s past. There’s no fretting over the height of the next high rise project, although a proposed new $190 million sports stadium to replace the famous ‘House of Pain’ rugby stadium at Carisbrook is raising some hackles. Speaking of rugby, there’s a great rugby shop on busy George St and a pub on the northern side of the Octagon is also dedicated to the game. There’s also a Scottish shop with kilts – a rarity indeed – and haggis. Scots, of course, founded the fair city. They were laymen from the Free Church of Scotland, invited by the New Zealand Company to establish a new settlement at a whaling station at the head of Otago Harbour. It all started in 1847.
Today the car brings the city, harbour and surrounding hills all within easy reach. In the city centre the spectacular architecture of the railway station, university and cathedrals gives way to the charming Otago Peninsula, where narrow, winding roads take you across almost mountainous sheep farms to Larnach’s Castle, wild ocean beaches graced by seals and penguins and placid harbourside bays adorned with compact settlements. We bought two good-sized sole (flounder) at one of the Saturday markets for $6. Back in town there’s a Cadbury’s chocolate factory open for tours most days. And don’t forget Baldwin St in North Dunedin, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s steepest street. Great exercise to work off the chocolate.

MARCH 15, 2009: I have a confession. As a teenager I was well and truly taken in by one of the biggest social engineering experiments and marketing cons of my era - the great late Sixties hippy-rock revolution. Incidentally, that's me and a relative at the Rainbow Cafe in Nimbin, New South Wales, an icon of Australian hippiedom. The reality of the hippy revolution as it was launched in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, in the mid to late 60s, can be read in an online series by LA writer Dave McGowan, Inside the LC: The Strange But Mostly True Story of Laurel Canyon and the Birth of the Hippy Generation. It's a myth-shattering account of strange, dark and tragic events centred on the community of Laurel Canyon - a place that Mama Cass Elliot and other residents of the canyon sang about. Something in the Air, produced by Thunderclap Newman with the help of Pete Townshend of The Who, was one of the anthems of the period (1969). The deception my generation swallowed and still accepts as history, was that this 'youth revolution' was a grass roots movement. It wasn't. It was guided from above. The case of Dr Timothy Leary and his advocacy of LSD, the 'ultimate hippy drug', illustrated the point. Leary was painted by the media as the archetypal, eccentric dropout, leading the way with his LSD experimentation and 'expansion of consciousness'. But a decade later it was revealed, following a US congressional hearing, that the 'anti-establishment' Leary was actually working for the CIA in a project called MK-Ultra. Wikipedia: "... MKULTRA, was the code name for a covert CIA mind-control and chemical interrogation research program, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence. The program began in the early 1950s, continuing at least through the late 1960s, and it used United States citizens as its test subjects. The published evidence indicates that Project MK-ULTRA involved the surreptitious use of many types of drugs, as well as other methods, to manipulate individual mental states and to alter brain function." The current google search page for MK-Ultra also reveals some testimonies of victims who suffered horribly at the hands of the social engineers behind this criminal endeavour. But the Sixties Revolution was more than just secret drug experiments (CIA whistleblower Victor Marchetti says they continued on after they allegedly stopped). Several decades later we have bureaucrats advocating and practicing mass drugging of children with Ritalin and other substances for 'psychological conditions'. The Sixties Revolution was about changing forever the culture of what we call Western civilization. Three decades from the launch of the hippy revolution, flower power' has become environmentalism, a global political force that at its highest levels promotes killing of humans ie 'population control'. 'Free love' is millions of broken families, suicides and government bureaucracies trying to sort the mess with draconian powers they should not have. Thank God for the gospel of grace, an enduring element of Western civilization that destructive social revolutions cannot eradicate. It's the churches, people of good will and other institutions who pick up the casualties of revolution, giving them an extended family, new lives and purpose in an age of confusion.

Globalisation on the march eating up Australian farms

A SPECIAL investigation by Tracey Spicer of the Daily Telegraph (March 07, 2009) has revealed the stark reality of globalisation, but without pointing to the big issue itself. Spicer points out something that might shock the 'average Australian' who uses television as their only means of information: Hasan Mohammad Bin Laden - one of Osama's brothers - is the head of the Middle-East Foodstuff Consortium and is eyeing off millions of hectares of farmland around the world to use as Saudi Arabia's "rice barn" and next on his hit list is Australia! Shock horror Tracey, welcome to the global economy.
Spicer reveals Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait want to buy buy more than $1 billion worth of Aussie farmland in a 21st century land grab. "Their mission is to own Australian cropping land to feed their own people. The big legal question is: Who owns what if there is a global food crisis?" "Everyone knows it's been going on," Suzanne Laing from the Australian Grain Growers Association said. "But we don't want to make any political comment."
Spicer's report notes that the National Farmers Federation supports the sell off. "We have no concerns at all," NFF president David Crombie said. "Foreigners bring in new dollars; it's good for Australian agriculture."
But Crombie and the NFF say it's all about 'free trade'. What they don't tell us is that its trade controlled by a global bureaucracy called the World Trade Organisation and a few global corporations like Monsanto, who admit they want total control of the world food supply.
Spicer tells us China is the most aggressive foreign land buyer, acquiring two million hectares overseas since 2007. But Spicer doesn't mention the Australia-China Free Trade Agreement, which virtually allows a Chinese takeover of Australia.
Spicer goes on to quote an anonymous staff member of Coffey International, one of the firms facilitating the deals. This person says 'foreign companies have been covertly buying up adjacent farms in Australia for the past year. Most are under the $100 million mark, so they don't have to be approved by the Foreign Investment Review Board'.
Spicer goes on to report that GRAIN, 'an international sustainable-agriculture group', as identifying at least five global firms acting on behalf of their governments who are trying to buy or lease Australian farms. They are China's Suntime International Techno-Economic Co-operation Group, India's Ministry of External Affairs, Abu Dhabi's Al Qudra Holding, the Qatar Company for Meat and Livestock Trading (Mawashi) and the Bahraini company TRAFCO. A fortnight ago, Australia's biggest beef cattle company, AAco, sold a $67.4 million stake to a foodstuffs conglomerate from the United Arab Emirates.
The report also refers the sale of the rights to a 550 million-tonne mine run by the Shenhua Energy Company near Gunnedah in north-west NSW.
And surprise, surprise, 'the UN and World Bank cautiously supported this trend - until they realised offshore farms are all about locking up food supplies, not helping the local farmers'.
Spicer also quotes a former UN environmental bureaucrat Lester Brown who now runs the Earth Policy Institute. Brown talks of the 'dangerous politics of food scarcity' and 'neo-colonialism'. Brown is right on the mark there, despite his role in promoting globalisation through environmental scare-mongering.
The report continues: "Strong increases in food prices and land scarcity are driving the corporatisation of Australian farms," said Audrey Riddell from market research firm IBISWorld.
So what happens in the event of a food shortage and subsequent riots, similar to those seen last year in Haiti?
"The international corporations have all the rights of a property owner," said lawyer Stephen Keim SC. "They can decide to whom they sell their food."
The report confirms the Federal Government's support for selling of land to foreign corporations: "Australia has a well-developed set of guidelines against which particular foreign investments are screened," the Minister for Agriculture Tony Burke said. "Outside of those guidelines, there are no plans to further restrict when and to whom farmers sell their own properties."

THE Queensland Premier Anna Bligh has called an election. Hooray. Excuse the cynicism, but this is the same government that says the public will have fluoride and recycled sewage in its water whether they like it or not and regardless of volumes of scientific evidence of its dangers to health. How ironic. This is the same government that has just given police extraordinary powers to intercept phone and internet messages, raising a warning from prominent lawyers. This is the same government, under exiled former premier Peter Beattie, that illegally rewrote the State Constitution without a referendum. This is the government with whom deceit and trickery has become an art form as hundreds of media hacks and 'communication specialists' filter all information going to the media and general public. Were it not for a few brave independents in the Queensland Parliament such as Dorothy Pratt, Elizabeth Cunningham, Peter Wellington and Rosa Lee Long, this corporate state might have gotten away with a lot more. But aided by a weak opposition and media that is unwilling to grasp tough political issues, the Queensland Labor Government has gotten off lightly for its corruption and velvet-glove fascism.
Premier Bligh has not called an election because she loves democracy. No, she's called it because her hacks and strategists have finally come to the conclusion that it's the time that most suits 'the government'. Actually, we all are the government. MPs are there by our authority to represent us, but that's not what Anna Bligh and company want you to think. In reality they regard the average Joe voter as just another unit to be manipulated by their well-oiled, self-serving political machine.
Some may be irked by the term fascist to describe the Queensland Government, but it is accurate. Historically, fascism is he combination of government and big business. The Queensland Government is driven and funded by multinational corporations such as Veolia Water, that pays for water research at the University of Queensland. That research and the scientists involved in it 'guide' State Government water policy.
The Queensland Government is also fascist because it crushes private farmers and private businesses with a multitude of regulations such as vegetation controls. The Government controls the water used by small business by demanding water audits under threat of massive fines and by forcing purchases of equipment. Council officers, operating under the alleged authority of the State Government's Local Government Act, demand several thousand dollars just to 'audit' twice a year, water saving devices used by businesses. Comply or else is their constitutionally illegal demand.
If Anna Bligh wins this election, her velvet-glove fascist state will become even more of a dictatorship. So your water bills double? "But we've all cut back," you protest. Tough luck sucker, get used to it. It's called fascism and unless you wake up and do something about it, you will be enslaved even more. And by the way, is your cat microchipped?

Digital TV converter spycam - hoax or true?

DO the new digital TV converter boxes being rolled out in the UK, the US and Australia have secret cameras and microphones installed in them? A video on Alex Jones' website PrisonPlanet.com appears to show a 'conspiracy sceptic' opening up his digital TV converter box to reveal a camera and microphone. Author of the article, Jones' UK correspondent Paul Joseph Watson, says such devices are 'part of a government and industry surveillance program that is undoubtedly connected to the forced digital TV switchover being rolled out in the UK and US'.
The man on the video states: "I have a friend who is kind of a conspiracy theorist. He was trying to convince me that many of the digital TV convert boxes that are coming out have microphones and cameras built into them. Knowing a bit about electronics I bought one of these devices opened it up fully intending on proving him wrong. To my surprise he was right. This device has both a miniature camera lens and what looks like a microphone. I was so shocked I took pictures and video. Please send this out to everyone you know who is using one of these devices."
The camera and microphone were hidden inside a MAGNAVOX TB110MW9 Digital to Analog Converter box.
But some bloggers are already saying they've checked their boxes and found nothing. Also, the camera and microphone look far too big and obvious to be anything suspicious, if in fact they were found in the box on the video.

Not climate change, not arsonists, but green ideology, says journalist

February 18: Miranda Devine, a writer for The Australian, has hit the nail on the head in regard to culpability for the Victorian bushfires and hysteria being whipped up about arsonists:
"It wasn't climate change which killed as many as 300 people in Victoria last weekend. It wasn't arsonists. It was the unstoppable intensity of a bushfire, turbo-charged by huge quantities of ground fuel which had been allowed to accumulate over years of drought," writes Devine.
"It was the power of green ideology over government to oppose attempts to reduce fuel hazards before a megafire erupts, and which prevents landholders from clearing vegetation to protect themselves. So many people need not have died so horribly. The warnings have been there for a decade. If politicians are intent on whipping up a lynch mob to divert attention from their own culpability, it is not arsonists who should be hanging from lamp-posts but greenies. Governments appeasing the green beast have ignored numerous state and federal bushfire inquiries over the past decade, almost all of which have recommended increasing the practice of "prescribed burning". Also known as "hazard reduction", it is a methodical regime of burning off flammable ground cover in cooler months, in a controlled fashion, so it does not fuel the inevitable summer bushfires. In July 2007 Scott Gentle, the Victorian manager of Timber Communities Australia, who lives in Healesville where two fires were still burning yesterday, gave testimony to a Victorian parliamentary bushfire inquiry so prescient it sends a chill down your spine. "Living in an area like Healesville, whether because of dumb luck or whatever, we have not experienced a fire … since … about 1963. God help us if we ever do, because it will make Ash Wednesday look like a picnic." God help him, he was right. Gentle complained of obstruction from green local government authorities of any type of fire mitigation strategies. He told of green interference at Kinglake - at the epicentre of Saturday's disaster, where at least 147 people died - during a smaller fire there in 2007. The Kinglake area was a nature-loving community of tree-changers, organic farmers and artists to the north of Melbourne. A council committed to reducing carbon emissions dominates the Nillumbik shire, a so-called "green wedge" area, where restrictions on removing vegetation around houses reportedly added to the dangers. In nearby St Andrews, where more than 20 people are believed to have died, surviving residents have spoken angrily of "greenies" who prevented them from cutting back trees near their property, including in one case, a tea tree that went "whoomp". Dr Phil Cheney, the former head of the CSIRO's bushfire research unit and one of the pioneers of prescribed burning, said yesterday if the fire-ravaged Victorian areas had been hazard-reduced, the flames would not have been as intense. ==
Kinglake and Maryville, now crime scenes, are built among tall forests of messmate stringy bark trees which pose a special fire hazard, with peeling bark creating firebrands that carry fire five kilometres out. "The only way to reduce the flammability of the bark is by prescribed burning" every five to seven years, Cheney said. He estimates between 35 and 50 tonnes a hectare of dry fuel were waiting to be gobbled up by Saturday's inferno.
Fuel loads above about eight tonnes a hectare are considered a fire hazard. A federal parliamentary inquiry into bushfires in 2003 heard that a fourfold increase in ground fuel leads to a 13-fold increase in the heat generated by a fire.
Things are no better in NSW, although we don't quite have Victoria's perfect storm of winds and forest types. Near Dubbo two years ago, as a bushfire raged through the Goonoo Community Conservation Area, volunteer firefighters bulldozing a control line were obstructed by National Parks and Wildlife Service employees who had driven from Sydney to stop vegetation being damaged.
The poor management of national parks and state forests in Victoria is highlighted by the interactive fire map on the website of the Department of Sustainability and Environment. Yesterday it showed that, of 148 fires started since mid-January, 120 started in state forests, national parks, or other public land, and just 21 on private property.
Only seven months ago, the Victorian Parliament's Environment and Natural Resources Committee tabled its report into the impact of public land management on bushfires, with five recommendations to enhance prescribed burning. This included tripling the amount of land to be hazard-reduced from 130,000 to 385,000 hectares a year. There has been little but lip service from the Government in response. Teary politicians might pepper their talking points with opportunistic intimations of "climate change" and "unprecedented" weather, but they are only diverting the blame. With yes-minister fudging and craven inclusion of green lobbyists in decision-making, they have greatly exacerbated this tragedy. There is an opening now in Victoria for a predatory legal firm with a taste for David v Goliath class actions.

Bushfires: ABC drops 'depopulate' word

FEB. 16: THE ABC's 7.30 report tonight dropped a dangerous word into the mix of the Victorian fires post mortem - depopulate. It's a not-so-subtle hint that bureaucrats are doing exactly what this blog warned of a few days ago - using the fires to advance the global green agenda - UN Agenda 21. This program prescribes depopulation of rural areas and concentration of population in 'sustainable cities'. Already the bureaucrats are trying to blame the fires on 'climate change' and insurance giants are hinting they will penalise people for living in the country. They have already threatened higher premiums for living near the sea because 'the oceans are rising'. More balderdash and green hysteria. But of course it makes money for them, just as increasing holdings of 'environmental parks' makes more assets for governments.
PS: The global green plutocrats think there are 'too many of us' anyway, which is why they reward people like Tim Flannery with 'Australian of the Year' awards and highly-paid stints at Harvard University. Flannery believes there should 'ideally' be 12 million Australians. Well Tim, stop breathing and dig your own grave if you think people are a threat to the planet.

Fires: 'Arsonist' taking flak for bureaucrats and politicians?

MON. FEB. 16: IN 2004 Liam Sheahan of Reedy Creek near Kinglake was convicted for the 'environmental crime' of removing 250 trees around his hilltop home. Mr Sheahan was fined $50,000 plus $50,000 costs by the Shire of Mitchell for protecting his property. As Mr Sheahan told reporters, there are still thousands of trees on his property. Today his family's house, in the middle of the fire-devasted region of Victoria, still stands.
But where is the Victorian Department of Environment and Sustainability? Hiding behind a wall of media management specialists no doubt. This department and others like it across Australia, routinely violate private property rights by assuming ownership' of trees on private property. But where are these bureaucrats and politicians now that their precious eucalypt trees have fuelled a fire of unprecedented ferocity that has killed some 189 people we know of?
Will this department and its minister should be brought before the Royal Commission and made to explain themselves? Time and time again green bureaucrats and politicians have been warned about allowing bush litter to build up. But no, they insist in allowing nature to 'return to its pristine order'. What utter balderdash! It's pie in the sky, Gaia religion unreality. The Sheahan family should be absolved and recompensed for the costs and suffering inflicted by the Shire of Mitchell minions on behalf of their State Government masters.
But the glaring injustice against the Sheahan family and other private property owners across Australia victimised by the green government kingpins is being drowned out by another noise - Arsonists! Arsonists! What arsonists? Are we talking about the one mentally retarded person charged by Victorian police with starting a fire in Gippsland?
If indeed arsonists did start fires on the weekend of February 7-8, they should be dealt with by the courts. But it seems the tabloid media wants to whip up angry mobs baying for blood, which effectively deflects attention away from those who enforced, by regulation and threat of penalty, the build up of vegetation that fuelled the fires.
As reported by the Sydney Morning Herald: "But seven years after the Sheahans bulldozed trees to make a fire break — an act that got them dragged before a magistrate and penalised — they feel vindicated. Their house is one of the few in Reedy Creek, Victoria, still standing."

Truckie group heads for Melbourne with aid - more needed

Feb. 13. 2009: A truckies group heading from Brisbane to Melbourne this weekend is appealing for donations of aid along the way - and stock and pet feed in particular for the many animals left without grass or hay around Melbourne.
The pick-up run is being organised by The Australian Long Distance Owners & Driver’s Association (ALDODA) which has trucks loaded with troop carriers to take down to the bushfires. ALDODA spokeswoman Lyn Bennett says there is still room to take down other supplies needed for bushfire victims, animals and livestock. Bushfire Victims urgently need new bedding - sheets, pillows, doonas, doona covers,new underwear all sizes,new mattresses, generators,secondhand caravans.
Blood donors: Burns Victims need a lot of blood to recover, if you haven’t already done so then please donate blood for these people. Livestock urgently needs: Hay, straw, grain, corn, pumpkin, guinea pig food and free land agistment . Livestock crates to transport livestock to agistment areas are also needed. "For ALDODA and the drivers' part, we are hoping to gather as much hay, straw, grain, corn, pumpkin and guinea pig food as we can for the animals that have suffered severely through these horrific fires,'' said Ms Bennetts. Academics use bushfire to promote global green agenda

FEB. 11, 2009 (updated Feb. 13) : Academics from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology are already offering their 'solutions' to the Victoria bushfire crisis. Of course, the fires have got 'nothing to do with' practical matters such as fuel loads in the forests, traditional cool burning operations or tree-hugging preservation regulations. No, it's all about 'climate change', 'community planning', 'risk management' and even something called 'human security'. Landscape non-management results in the type of total vegetation and soil destruction pictured (right).
But the RMIT academics have no shortage of global, UN and Rockefeller/Pew/Gates Foundation-funded programs to peddle in response to the fire tragedy. The over-arching global green program, Agenda 21 - which aims to abolish private property by stealth - will no doubt be used to propose depopulating 'high risk' and 'unsustainable' low-density living in urban fringes. No doubt these academics and their bureaucratic comrades will be lauding 'low carbon footprint' high-rise apartment buildings as the answer to the 'unsustainable' practice of living in rural and semi-urban areas.
Enter Professor John Handmer, director of the Centre for Risk and Community Safety at RMIT, as the leader of national research into the 'impact of climate change on disaster management and emergency'. Professor Handmer, who leads research at the "Human Security Program" in RMIT’s Global Cities Research Institute, says Australians will 'need to find ways to adapt into the future, as we feel the effects of climate change and prepare for a possible increase in these kinds of extreme events'. So there you have it. It's all about climate change, nothing to do with the way bureaucracy mismanages land in the State of Victoria.
As pointed out in earlier posts, governments and academics pushing the global green eugenics agenda treat trees as sacred objects. A property occupier must negotiate layers of state and local government bureaucracy just to receive 'special dispensation' to remove or trim a tree on his own property. This is a gross violation of historic private property rights, but under Agenda 21, private property is almost a crime. Unauthorised cutting of vegetation is treated as a serious crime. But, what 'sacred value' has a tree or a patch of native grass when both can be turned to ash within minutes in a bushfire such as that just witnessed? This is insanity.

Burying CO2 in the soil - more green madness

FEB. 10: Australia's Carbon Sense Coalition has accused coal companies, power companies and governments of gross negligence for wasting resources from shareholders, electricity consumers and taxpayers on quixotic dreams to capture and bury carbon dioxide from power stations.

Carbon Sense Coalition chairman, Viv Forbes, said that there were five main objections to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS):

Firstly, there are no possible climate benefits because carbon dioxide in the atmosphere does not control climate and the tiny effect of man’s emissions is wholly beneficial. There has been no open scientific enquiry into the justification for demonising carbon dioxide, and a large and growing scientific opposition to the whole global warming hysteria.
Secondly, there is no public health justification for CCS because carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. It is a colourless, non-toxic gas and in fact a valuable plant food. A warm climate with abundant carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will be beneficial for all life.
Thirdly, CCS can never be “economic” because there are huge costs and zero benefits.
Fourthly, CCS will divert a vast amount of community savings into stupid investments which will be abandoned in a more enlightened future time.
And finally, neither taxpayers nor shareholders have seen a full cost benefit analysis of the CCS proposals by independent experts. They have no idea of the guaranteed huge cost and the illusory benefits. “Every day we hear people sounding off about “dirty coal.'' said Mr Forbes. "Coal is a natural substance and every element in coal reflects the composition of living plants and plays a part in sustaining healthy life. Coal is as natural as the forests from which it came, with the same fuel components as natural gas, more natural than distilled ethanol, and as clean the healthiest soil in a good garden. Like any substance you can name, coal can be dangerous if misused – people in a sealed room can suffocate from the open fire burning wood, or from their own breathing, but sensible people make sure a window is open to allow their combustion products to diffuse into the vast atmosphere.

The same problem arises if there are too many open fires in cities, where poor combustion and lack of modern pollution scrubbers produces a toxic concentration of soot, ash and polluting gases (as in Asia now). Poor combustion with insufficient oxygen can also produce the poisonous gas carbon monoxide, but nowhere is carbon dioxide a problem in the open atmosphere.

“Clean electricity from modern coal-fired power stations is what has cleaned up the smogs of London and Pittsburgh, and can do the same for the Asian smog. Once diffused into the atmosphere, carbon dioxide (and all other products from burning coal) become plant food and mineral nutrients for the whole plant kingdom. Plants extract carbon dioxide from the air, consume the carbon and return the oxygen to the atmosphere. It is the key link in the cycle of life. The earth is already burying valuable carbon resources in vast deposits of limestone, dolomite, magnesite and gypsum in oceans and lakes and in organic matter being buried at sea by flooding rivers.

“Despite all the hysteria by Al Gore and others, the carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere are lower now than at many times in earth’s history. So low in fact that if we were successful in capturing and burying all of man’s emissions of carbon dioxide, many people may starve as plant growth would be so reduced that food production would not support today’s population. Burning fossil fuels has had the serendipitous effect of aiding the world production of food and supporting our large populations.

“We hear proponents bleating wistfully about the possibilities of proving that CCS is “economic”. It can NEVER be economic, because there are no benefits – nothing to offset the huge capital costs, nothing to repay the large increase in power generating costs. It can only ever be a mammoth waste of energy, resources and money.

“Building large high pressure pipelines that end up in carbon cemeteries can only be made to look economic by heavy taxes on emissions of harmless carbon dioxide. But even with this artificial subsidy, so-called clean coal plants are being abandoned because of the escalating costs. The engineering obstacles to carbon capture and storage guarantee that the capital and operating costs will be very large.

“For every tonne of coal burnt, and after all the polluting gases and soot are removed, over 3 tonnes of carbon dioxide remains. This huge quantity of hot gas has to be captured, cooled, separated from the other “greenhouse gas” (water vapour), compressed and pumped in huge high-pressure pipelines to some distant spot where deep wells have been drilled to allow this valuable gas to be pumped underground, where it is hoped it will stay.

If CCS is installed, electricity costs must rise dramatically. Even the research, planning and design costs will be huge, decades before any CCS plant will operate. Queensland alone has already committed over one billion dollars to this foolish dream.

(In a few favourable locations this gas could be used to drive more oil or gas out of depleted oil fields and this proven technique is already being used where it makes economic sense – it should not be force fed by carbon taxes.)

“All of this separation, compressing and pumping requires . . . more energy from more coal burning. So we burn more coal, each tonne of which produces over three tonnes of CO2, in order to reduce emissions of CO2?? Who is fooling whom? The main game is to reduce consumption of our valuable fossil fuels, so why would anyone support this wanton destruction of resources, energy and capital? And why stop at power stations? Bushfires: DSE policy puts trees before people

FEB. 9, 2009 (updated Feb. 10): Victoria's Department of Sustainability and Environmentwill is on the defensive with its spin doctors on full alert, trying to douse any suggestion that their 'environmental policies' that cover almost every square metre of Victoria may have contributed to the worst ever Australian bushfire disaster. And watch the DSE try to deflect the Royal Commission of Inquiry away from its 'save vegetation at all costs' policy. The DSE's own regulations as outlined in a 'Practice Note' from the DSE website: "Trees overhanging a dwelling: This exemption allows the lopping or removal of any part of a tree overhanging a dwelling or other building used for accommodation. Under this exemption only that part of the tree which is overhanging the building and which is necessary for fire protection can be removed or lopped. Native vegetation within 30 metres of a dwelling This exemption allows the removal of native vegetation within 30 metres of a dwelling or other building used for accommodation provided: at least 50 percent of native shrubs are retained; and native grasses are kept to at least a height of 100 millimetres. This exemption does not apply to trees."

The DSE regulation, totally ignoring private property rights going back to Magna Carta, considers property owners and occupiers require 'special dispensation' to cut back a 'tree' which they appear to consider sacred. And only that part of the tree overhanging the dwelling can be cut. This regulation may have cost Victorian lives and homes. This anti-human, deep green insanity has must stop, but is there a politician who would dare stand up? Wilson Tuckey is one of few such such politicians. Tuckey says it's time governments woke up to the fact that current forest 'management' practices, based on locking up forests and allowing leaf litter to accumulate, are misguided and lethal. Most of the land surrounding Kinglake and other towns wiped out in the bushfires is in fact 'managed' by DSE and Parks Victoria.
Perhaps it's time for another national tree chop day as organised by NSW farmers and SOS News last year in protest against environ-mentalist lunacy in government.

Bushfires kill 180 Victorians - worst ever bushfire toll

February 8, 2008 (updated Feb. 10): Wildfires in Victoria have this last weekend killed at least 181 people and destroyed 700 homes, most of them in the heavily forested hill country northeast of Melbourne. Queenslanders' sympathy goes out to the victims. Please give to the appeals such as Red Cross on 1800 811 700. The towns including Kinglake and Marysville, have been virtually destroyed in the latest fire.
As much as this tragic time right now is one for grief and solidarity and not one for issuing blame, the questions must again be asked about how the management or mismanagement of the Australian landscape contributes to fires. An ABC news report stated: "And hard questions will be asked of Victoria's Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) about whether it has done enough to manage the state's forests."
When summer weather turns extreme, protected eucalypt and other native trees become lethal firebombs. The Kinglake Fire Brigade website reveals what is happening in our countryside across the nation: "Today the farming community is shrinking with the growth of rural-residential properties (5 acres or less) and the forests around the area are now either national parks or protected/controlled areas under the control of the DSE (Department of Sustainability and Environment) or Parks Victoria."
The Victorian DSE must take responsibility for much of the latest devastation just as the ACT Government was held accountable the devastating fires there in 2003. It's time for governments to think more rationally about trees when they present a fire threat to a community. Currently in municipalities Australia-wide, trees have 'sacred cow' status. Council environment departments have no qualms about sending property owners bankrupt (or even jailing them) if they destroy a tree. One Sydney waterfront property owner was fined $180,000 for the 'crime' of removing trees on his own property. What if those trees became fuel in a bushfire? In NSW and Queensland, beachfront property owners have their views blocked by screens when trees are poisoned or cut down. The screens carry messages accusing the people in the area as likely 'environmental criminals'. But again, what if that tree became fuel in a wildfire?
Mal Davies' SOS News website, a forum for rural activists fighting city-based bureaucracies, has bitterly attacked the ACT government for failing to understand forests and fire risks by simply locking up more and more land without fire management.

OH my, Sarah Palin the moose hunter is now Sarah the wolf killer! In reality, people flying in planes in Alaska are shooting wolves from the air with Governor Palin's approval and getting a bounty on each leg. It's a sad sight indeed to see a wolf shot from an aircraft, but managing animals is a thing we humans have to do. These Alaskans aren't shooting wolves for sadistic fun, like the GIs do with dogs in Iraq. Neither are they throwing puppies off a cliff, like two GIs did and then laughed about it. That's sick and that's animal cruelty. Keeping wolf numbers under control is animal management and Ashley Judd, who says on her video it's all very cruel, should face some facts. Trouble is, Ashley and many others like her, seem to be confused about the relationship between humans and animals. The Book of Genesis says God gave mankind dominion over animals and guess what, that's the reality. Did you ever see a flock of sheep organising for a better grazing deal or cattle demanding better transport to slaughter houses? No, we homo sapiens actually have dominion over animals and responsibility to look after them. We kill a lot of them and eat them too. Get over it or be a vegan. And Ashley, leave the Alaskans to sort out their own affairs.

Corporate lying about high fructose corn sugar

SLICK advertisements claiming high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is 'natural' and 'safe' have hit the US TV stations, but corporate America, in the form of the Corn Refiners Association, isn't getting a free ride with this blatant propaganda. Health industry practitioners are putting their commentaries up on YouTube pointing out that HFCS is not 'natural', but a processed product made from glucose extracted from corn starch. The glucose is treated with enzymes to create fructose, which is not found in nature in the form produced by the corn refiners. Wikipedia carries both sides of the debate but the studies quoted implicate fructose consumption to obesity and insulin resistance. Chi-Tang Ho et al. found soft drinks sweetened with HFCS were up to 10 times richer in harmful carbonyl compounds, such as methylglyoxal, than a diet soft drink control. Carbonyl compounds are elevated in people with diabetes and are blamed for causing diabetic complications such as foot ulcers and eye and nerve damage. The advice of natural medicine practitioners is to stick to natural forms of sugar such as the fructose in fruit. One other important point - don't switch to 'sugar free' products, because they are likely to be contaminated with Aspartame or similar flavour enhancers. Aspartame is a neurotoxin and dangerous to health. Do your body a favour, drink springwater or filtered rainwater. You can ever flavour water by cutting up fruit and dropping it in. Fluoride fraud perpetrated by compliant Queensland politicians

QUEENSLAND, the so-called Smart State, has become the last state in Australia to fluoridate it's water at 8 parts per million sodium silicofluoride, an S6 poison just a little less toxic than arsenic. That's not very smart. "It's good for your teeth," says the government and members of the dental profession. It's 'safe and effective' say the radio ads. But mention fluoride's highly reactive toxicity and hundreds of reports questioning its safety and the 'experts' go into denial and damage-control mode. Fluoride is not safe. It comes from pollution scrubbers in fertiliser and aluminium factories. Fluoride is prohibited from being disposed of in the environment, except drip by drip into our water supply. Queensland Health attempted to spread the lie on its website that it came from 'natural minerals', but sodium silicofluoride is hundreds of times more reactive than naturally occurring calcium fluoride. That's why it is effective at reacting with tooth enamel to the point that it will actually corrode it. Of course it also reacts with bone and other tissue, but Queensland Health doesn't want to talk about that. Meanwhile Europeans have abandoned fluoridation and ironically, Belgium exports the toxic powder to Queensland to drip feed our water. Not very smart.
But there are some smart Queenslanders who have initiated a class action against the State Government, to request the ministers involved to study the scientific data and report on it. If they choose not to, they have to explain why in court. The People's Class Action group is currently awaiting a response from the State Government, which had 28 days until the end of January to respond. It has another 28 days to explain why it choses not to respond.
Why the Queensland Government ignored public protests to implement the increasingly discredited practice of fluoridation remains a mystery. But given that this same government is up to its neck in deals with multinational water and infrastructure companies such as Veolia and Babcock & Brown Australia, it would most likely come down to big sums of money. Veolia, for instance, helps fund the $2.5million Chair of Water Recycling at the University of Queensland, which advises the government on recycled water policy. Queensland Water Commission chairwoman Elizabeth Nosworthy was also vice-chairman of infrastructure company Babcock & Brown, which is in financial strife and has been delisted from the Australian Stock Exchange. And then this curious arrangement. In 2007 Babcock & Brown hired as its infrastructure head Ross Rolfe, who had been Queensland Co-ordinator-General, and was involved in early planning for the Brisbane-Gold Coast water grid. Such are the convenient arrangements these days between state and 'private' bureaucrats serving the corporate state.

Confiscating hoon cars

In 2004 police in Western Australia, egged on by media-amplified public outrage, passed laws to confiscate so-called 'hoon cars'. Other states have followed Western Australia in order to deal with this social phenomenon that has become worse with the increasing number of high-performance sedans on the market. 'Hooning' is otherwise known as dangerous driving, which in most places is a criminal offence.
Hooning is undoubtedly dangerous, irresponsible and downright annoying in suburban areas late at night. But what most people forget is that seizure of private property without due process violates fundamental rights and freedoms established as far back as Magna Carta.
If we give the state the 'right' to seize private property without due process in courts we are in dangerous waters.
Policing of teenagers who drive dangerously should not require confiscation of cars, just due process in a court of law. Repeated offences should undoubtedly lead to jail terms.
However, foaming-at-the-mouth radio shock jocks and others now want to go further. Crush the hoon cars! So, private property is not only illegally confiscated by the state, it is wilfully destroyed - almost as an act of spite and vengeance. If I was to 'confiscate' someone's car and then destroy it I would face charges of theft and wilful damage. Why is it OK for the state, via the police, to do that?

The so-called problem of 'peak oil', given much media exposure before the recent run up of oil to $US160 a barrel, is exposed as political chicanery in many articles available on the web.

Weather modification, contrails and chemtrails

Almost every day we have the words 'climate change' drummed into us by the global media. The message is that we must all become environmentalists and stop producing carbon dioxide - despite the fact that we breath it out continually and it is taken in by plants as part of the cycle of life. But google the words 'chemtrails' or 'weather modification' and you will discover many thousands of references to man-made weather modification.
One of the visual manifestations of weather modification are jet contrails (that may or may not be "chemtrails") that remain in the upper atmosphere and spread out over large areas. Pictured right is one example over the Gold Coast, Australia. Note the rainbow effect. When contrails spread in the upper atmosphere and create large "white out" areas, they appear to disrupt advancing weather systems, such as rain fronts, in the lower atmosphere. The HAARP atmospheric modification technology in Alaska also has the potential to alter water vapour and clouds by heating the ionosphere. A small scale laboratory demonstration of this was shown on a History Channel program on weather modification. The US military has engaged in weather modification for more than half a century, some of it with positive success such as Operation Stormfury, which reduced Hurricane Debbie in 1969 by up to 45 per cent. A cloud physicist involved in this program, Ben Livingstone, features on a YouTube clip talking about this program and how it was shut down by the US Government. One would think insurance companies would be right behind such a program.
Modification of weather raises some interesting issues. For instance, could it be used to create water shortages, thereby driving up the price of water? This in turn creates a highly profitable industry for global water companies. It also offers a war and social engineering mechanism to control large segments of the population by restricting water use and food production.
